“TiKUS itu artinya Tiger Kaskus atau sekumpulan pecinta motor Tiger yang ngumpulnya di forum Kaskus,†papar Poetro Canbul Fadjar salah satu keluarga besar TiKUS.
“Awalnya karena sering sharing di thread Kaskus yang judul Thread nya Serba Serbi Honda Tiger hasil kreasi Bro Bayu alias Thompels. Sekarang anggotanya sekitar 20 an orang. Sampai saat ini thread sudah masuk part-3 yang isinya mengupas habis bukan hanya masalah mesin Honda Tiger semata, tapi juga membahas tentang modifikasi, pernak-pernik, sampai ke jual beli,†kata Poetro.
Ternyata yang uniknya, TiKUS yang satu ini juga suka ngegosip. Beragam ulasan gossip mereka bicarakan, mulai dari gossip roda dua hingga gossip artis-artis ibu kota.
“Kita juga fokus mebahas dan menerapkan aturan berlalu lintas dan tidak lupa juga diskusi mengenai safety riding. Terkadang gak menutup kemungkinan kita ngegosip, mulai dari gossip-gosip motor baru hingga gossip artis-artis ibu kota,†papar lelaki bertubuh subur ini.
“Pemilihan nama komunitas ini sesungguhnya banyak mendapat masukan nama yang keren-keren dari temen-temen di forum Kaskus. Tapi gw berpikir hadirnya komuntias ini bukan untuk menunjukkan arogansi atau biar disegani, tau sendiri kan gimana kondisi mahluk bernama tikus? Di singkirin, dimusuhin dan negative lah. Tapi justeru melalui nama yang tidak membuat orang merasa segan, kami berharap komunitas ini bisa memberikan nilai-nilai positif khususnya bagi keluarga besar TiKUS,†papa Bayu Murti Kencana selaki koordinator TiKUS.
Komunitas yang berdiri pada 20 Februari 2010 silam, memiliki komitmen tersendiri bagi seluruh TiKUSer.
