GilaMotor, JAKARTA.- PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) akhirnya benar-benar mendatangkan motor barunya di segmen yang juga boleh dikatakan baru. Ya, AHM akan meluncurkan bebek matik (betik) besok di salah satu bioskop ternama di bilangan Jakarta Selatan.

Kepastian peluncuran betik Honda ini diperoleh GilaMotor.com dari sumber terpercaya di PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Jakarta.

Betik yang sebelumnya telah diluncurkan di negeri Gajah Putih, Thailand, menggunakan basis Honda Revo bermesin 110 cc dan bernama Honda Vario Techno AT dan telah dilengkapi teknologi Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI).

Bebek matik Honda yang di Thailand berlebel Honda Wave 110i AT ini dibandrol dengan harga 44.900 bath atau sekitar Rp 12,5 juta. Namun untuk pasar Indonesia, GilaMotor belum mendapatkan harga resmi bebek matik ini.

“Biar surprise, sekalian besok aja. Semuanya pasti akan terlihat lebih detil. Mulai dari harga dan spesifikasi teknik nya,” ujar sumber tersebut.

Hadirnya bebek matik ini di pasar otomotif Indonesia tentunya sebagai menguat citra dan pendukung motor bebek yang sudah ada. Jika dilihat dari jumlah penjualan motor Hodan selama smester pertama 2010, motor bebek merupakan penyumbang terbesar penjualan Honda.

Selain itu, kehadiran bebek matik ini bisa dipastikan sebagai penambahan pilihan varian bebek yang sudah ada kepada konsumen Honda. Sumber tersebut mengatakan kehadiran motor ini sebagai segmen baru, tapi jika melihat basisnya yang mengambil basis Honda Abs Revo, motor tentunya diproyeksikan sebagai pilihan baru bagi masyarakat di jajaran keluarga motor bebek Honda.
