Start dari pelataran Planet Hollywood Jakarta, rombongan touring bertajuk Smart Revolution Journey memulai perjalanannya yang direncanakan akan berakhir di pulau Bali pada hari Minggu mendatang.
Tak kurang dari 10 unit Honda Revo AT memulai etape pertamanya dari Jakarta menuju kota Kembang Bandung, Jawa Barat.
“Perjalanan ini sebenarnya ada unsur fun nya  dan sekaligus menjajal kenyamanan Honda Revo AT 110 cc,” papar Executive Vice President Director PT. AHM, Johannes Loman di lokasi start.
“Selain itu, kita ingin memperlihatkan bahwa teknologi baru ini lebih irit dan juga memiliki performa mesin yang bagus,” tambahnya.
Perjalanan bertajuk SmArT REVOlution Journey ini sedianya akan singgah di tiap kota besar yang dilewati seperti Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya dan Bali.
Selain untuk menunjukan ketangguhan dan membuktikan keiritan motor seharga Rp 15,8 juta, perjalanan ini sekaligus untuk memperkenalkan produk terbaru Honda kepada masyarakat luas.
Mesin Honda Revo AT ini dilengkapi dengan teknologi sistem injeksi generasi ketiga atau Programmable Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) yang juga dilengkapi dengan sensor O2 dan catalytic converter. Sehingga, selain kerja mesin maksimal, tahan lama, juga irit bahan bakar dan tentunya lebih ramah lingkungan.
Bicara masalah konsumsi bahan bakar, Honda mengklaim bebek matik ini hanya butuh 1 liter bensin premium untuk menempuh jarak 57,3 kilometer. Menurut Mitsuo Tamamura selaku Chief Engineer Honda R&D untuk wilayah Asia Tenggara dalam presentasinya menjelaskan, bahwa emisi gasbuangnya telah memenuhi standar Euro 2.
“Selain desainya dan teknologinya, emisi gas buangnya juga perlu diperhatikan dan Revo AT ini telah memenuhi standar Euro 2,” tandas Tamamura.
