Yamaha Byson Launching Setelah Lebaran
GilaMotor, JAKARTA.- Pecinta Yamaha yang selama ini sedang menanti-nanti kedatangan motor sport Yamaha berlebel Byson, nampaknya harus bersiap diri menyambut kedatangannya. Pasalnya, pihak YMKI mengabarkan bahwa akahir bulan ini Byson akan menjalani finalisasi test quality control. Dan akan hadir tak lama setelah finalisasi itu selesai.
Hal ini dikatakan oleh Paulus S. Firmanto selaku selaku Chief DDS I, YMKI Jakarta saat dihubungi GilaMotor.com (19/7). “Sebeneranya sih kalau masalah meluncurkan Byson, kita maunya secepatnya. Tapi kita harus menyelesaikan pengujian agar kualitasnya tak mengecewakan,” papar Paulus.
“Akhir bulan ini Byson akan menjalani test quality control tahap akhir, setelah itu akan diluncurkan. Kalau tidak ada halangan akan kita luncurkan setelah lebaran 2010,” katanya.
Lamanya peluncuran Byson bukan tanpa alasan. Pihak Yamaha mengklaim bahwa kualitas dan kepuasa pelanggan adalah yang utama. Sehingga persiapan untuk menyiapkan Byson yang terbilang cukup lama ini semata-mata untuk kualitas yang lebih maksimal.
“Ekspektasi masyarakat  terhadap Yamaha sudah sangat tinggi, jadi kami tidak mau mengecewakan karena kualitas produk yang kurang baik. Kami tidak terlalu mengejar kuantitas, tapi kualitas adalah yang utama. Hal ini demi kepuasan seluruh pecinta Yamaha,” tambah lelaki yang sebentar lagi akan menggantikan posisi Bambang Asmarabudi sebagai GM Marketing & Motor Sport Division PT YMKI.
Bicara masalah harga Byson, Yamaha belum memberikan keterangan pasti. Namun sebagai petunjuk, harganya tidak akan jauh berbeda dengan motor dikelas 150 cc seperti V-Ixion.
“Kalau masalah harga tentunya tak akan jauh berbeda dengan motor di kelas 150 cc seperti V-Ixion. Kami pun sedang menyelesaikan final tax nya untuk menentukan harga pastinya,” pungkas Paulus.
