Musim Balap 2010 Akhir Rossi Bersama Yamaha

Perihal ini diungkapkan Yamaha sesaat setelah seri Brno, Ceko, berakhir (15/8).

Yamaha dan Rossi telah menikmati kebersamaan mereka selama 7 tahun musim balap yang fantastis dengan meraih empat gelar juara. Musim mendatang, Rossi dipastikan akan melangkah dengan tantangan baru ketika dirinya berada dibawah naungan tim merah, Ducati.

Rossi telah memainkan peran besar dalam sejarah Yamaha dan dia akan selalu tetap menjadi bagian penting dari warisan Yamaha. Yamaha sangat berterimakasih atas kontribusi Rossi untuk suksesnya belap selama tujuh tahun terakhir serta mengungkapkan bahwa ia adalah yang terbaik.

Managing Director Yamaha Motor Racing, Lin Jarvis mengatakan, “Atas nama Yamaha Motor Group, saya ingin menyampaikan terimakasih kami selama tujuh tahun kami telah mengabiskan waktu yang menakjubkan bersama Valentino Rossi.”

Sementara kami menyesali keputusan Vale untuk pindah, pada saat yang sama kami menghormati sepenuhnya keputusan Rossi untuk mencari tantangan baru. Kami harapkan yang terbaik di musim 2011 dan seterusnya bagi dia.” ungkap Jervis.

Menurut Rossi, dirinya sangat sulit menjelaskan dengan kata-kata tentang hubungan yang terjalin bersama Yamaha selama 7 tahun.

“Sangat sulit menjelaskan hanya dalam beberapa kata mengenai hubungan saya dengan Yamaha yang telah mencapai 7 tahun,” ungkap Rossi.
