Begajulan Bareng Byson

GilaMotor, BROMO.- Bersamaan dengan gelaran Amazing Journey yang merupakan gelaran puncak prosesi peluncuran dua produk Yamaha, Byson dan New Scorpio, PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) memberikan kesempatan kepada seluruh perserta untuk menjajal dua motor terbarunya di lautan pasir dan Savana, Bromo (25/9).

Kesempatan ini pun tak disia-siakan GilaMotor.com, meski sangat disayangkan karena unit yang terbatas GilaMotor.com hanya beru bisa menjajal Byson di gurun pasir dan Savana.

Setelah mencoba handling dan performa Byson di Sentul kecil, Bogor beberapa waktu lalu, menjajal Byson dimedan off road ternyata sangat menyenangkan. Motor sport yang disebut-sebut Yamaha sebagai The Lord of The Street juga tangguh diajak bermanuver di medan off road.

Sepertinya disinilah tempat yang tepat untuk menjajal kehandalan mesin, handling serta kinerja suspesi Byson, kesemuanya nyaris sempurna.

Bahkan diajak bermanuver dalam kecepatan diatas 50 km/jam, sensasi pengendaraannya tak kalah dengan motorkros Yamaha TTR 125 yang juga disediakan YMKI untuk dicoba.

Penasaran dengan kondisi berkendara membawa penumpang atau boncenger, GilaMotor.com coba membonceng rekan dari media lain. Dan hasilnya tak jauh berbeda dengan pengendaraan sendiri. Bahkan bonceger pun merasa tak terganggu dengan jalur rusak berpasir dan berhias gundukan.

“Ternyata nyaman juga yah naik Byson di jalan rusak seperti ini termasuk jadi boncenger,” celoteh M. Lulut dari oto.co.id.

Mendengar celoteh rekan yang dibonceng, gairah untuk mengajak Byson lebih kencang di jalan berundak-undak dan berpasir makin memuncah. Walhasil muncullah ide untuk begajulan di Bromo dengan Byson.

Menunggang motor dijalur rusak dengan motorkros memang mengasyikkan, namun melahap medan rusak dengan motor sport Byson sungguh memberikan sensasi tersendiri.

Motor berkapasitas mesin 153 cc dengan bandrol harga Rp 19,9 juta on the road Jakarta ini, ditargetkan akan terjual sebanyak 20 ribu unit hingga akhir tahun 2010.
