Ratusan Bikers Jajal Byson & Scorpio

GilaMotor, MALANG.- Prosesi peluncuran produk baru Yamaha sungguh mampu menyuguhkan sebuah pengalaman berbeda. Dikemas dalam sebuah rangkaian acara bertajuk Amazing Journey dengan pemilihan lokasi di alam terbuka Gunung Bromo, Byson dan Scorpio resmi diluncurkan dihadapan 500 bikers dari berbagai komunitas motor sport Tanah Air.

Yang menarik, komunitas dan klub motor yang hadir dalam acara tersebut bukan hanya datang dari kalangan pengguna Yamaha, namun dari berbagai brand motor yang beredar di Tanah Air. Sebut saja klub Suzuki Thunder, Bajaj Pulsar, Honda Tiger (HTML), dan beberapa komunitas lain.

“Sesungguhnya ini merupakan acaranya para bikers. Namun karena ada salah satu produk yang prosesi peluncurannya tertunda akhirnya kita gabungkan dengan acara ini,” papar Paulus Sugih Firmanto, GM Promotion and Motor Sport Division PT YMKI.

“Mengingat perjalanan yang panjang dan menantang sesuai namanya Amazing Journey, kami menyeleksi bikers yang akan turut dalam acara ini dengan melakukan serangkaian test kesehatan dan bikers yang memang sering melakukan perjalanan panjang,” tambah Paulus.

Menurut Paulus, dalam acara ini Yamaha hanya ingin memberikan sebuah pengalaman berbeda kepada bikers dengan tidak memandang dari brand mana mereka berasal. Dengan semangat kebersamaan atau brotherhood antar bikers yang kental, menunjukkan bahwa dari brand apa pun mereka adalah satu yakni Bikers.

Acara yang disuguhkan untuk para bikers pun cukup beragam, mulai dari adu ketangkasan menembak, berburu, musik hingga menjajal New Scorpio dan Byson.

“Gila. Ini ide gila,” ungkap vokalis Steven & Coconut Treez yang sempat membawakan 6 lagu.

“Kalau di mall atau hotel itu biasa, tapi ini dialam terbuka dan digunung pula. Gw gak kebayang ditengah-tengah gunung kayak gini bikin acara seperti ini dan semua berjalan lancar, salut gw sama Yamaha,” tambah Steven bersemangat.

Senada dengan Steven, sang vokalis band reggae Marapu Band yang juga tampil menggoyang Savana Bromo mengaku terkagum kagum dengan konsep acara yang digelar di alam terbuka ini.

“Terus terang ini sangat luar biasa. Dari segi tempat ini sangat keren dan kami juga baru tau kalau lokasi ini sangat bagus. Kalau gak ada acara Yamaha ini kita gak akan tau suasana eksotis disini yang sekaligus bisa mempromosikan ke masyarakat bahwa tempat ini sangat bagus,” ungkap Yanto sang vokalis Marapu Band.

Menurut Yamaha, dipilihnya Bromo sebagai puncak rangkaian acara peluncuran Scorpio dan Byson hanya ingin menyuguhkan sesuatu yang berbeda yang juga dikolerasikan dengan karakter motor terbarunya.

“Namanya sudah mencerminkan kalau mereka adalah hewan liar, jadi lokasi ini sangat cocok untuk melepas Scorpio dan Byson yang aslinya juga merupakan mahluk liar. Disini semua bikers bisa mencoba Scorpio dan Byson untuk menjajal ketangguhannya di trek rumput, jalan tanah bergelombang dan becek hingga padang pasir,” jelas Indra Dwi Sunda, PR & Corporate Communication Head PT YMKI.

Byson yang merupakan produk baru, mengusung mesin berkapasitas 153 cc dengan mengandalkan tampilan yang kekar dan sangar. Motor yang dijuluki The Lord of the Street ini di lepas dengan bandrol harga Rp 19.9 juta on the road Jakarta dan ditargetkan akan terjual sebanyak 20 ribu unit hingga akhir tahun.

Sementara New Scorpio yang mesih mengusung mesin 225 cc, dilepas dengan bandrol harga Rp 23.5 juta on the road Jakarta.
