V-Ixion 2009 : Tingkatkan Tanaga Hingga 7 DK
GilaMotor,- JAKARTA.- Melihat bobot tubuhnya yang hampir 100 kg, membuat lelaki berperawakan tinggi besar ini merasa motor kesayangannya tak bisa bekerja maksimal saat menganggkut dirinya. Tarikan dan akselerasinya dilinai lambat dan kurang memuaskan.
Lelaki bernama lengkap Aditya Joko Utomo yang juga anggota Yamaha V-Ixion Club Indonesia (YVCI), berusaha mencari informasi tentang untung-rugi jika V-Ixion kesayangannya dibore-up untuk meningkatkan power yang lebih baik.
“Gw ngerasa Yamaha V-Ixion tahun 2009 ini gak bisa ngebawa gw karena powernya kuarang untuk ngangkut bobot gw yang hampir 1 kwintal,” ungkap lelaki yang akrab disapa Adit.
“Awal ikut kopdar YVC, gw ketemu sama Fandi yang kebetulan mekanik dari bengkel langganan temen-temen Yamaha V-Ixion Club. Dari situ Fandi nyaranin V-Ixion gw pake Air Injection dan GP Filter,” tambah Adit
“Air Injection (AI) tinggal pasang dan copot serta tidak repot pemasangannya. AI ini bisa memberikan aliran udara yang baik ke ruang bakar. Nah, dengan suplay udara yang baik hasil pembakaran jadi lebih sempurna,” kata mekanik langganan YVC-I ini.
Menurut lelaki yang kini sedang melanjutkan pendidikan S2 di Universitas Indonesia, perubahan akselerasi pada motor kesayangannya cukup terasa. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, rasa kurang puas pada tenaga motornya muncul kembali.
“Awalnya gw puas banget karena akselesari lebih responsive dan nafasnya juga panjang, tapi kelamaan kayaknya gw pengen powernya lebih gede lagi, akhirnya gw coba ganti kanvas kopling dan koilnya pakai punya Tiger Revo. Dan hasilnya jauh lebih mantaps,” jelas Adit.
Dasar manusia memang gak pernah ada puasnya, akselerasi dan tenaga yang dicapai motornya dinilai masih kurang nendang. Akhirnya Afandi sang juragan Afandi Motor Sport (AFMoS) yang berlokasi di Plaza Nagari Pakubuwono / PAMOR. Blok C No.22 Jl. Kyai Maja No.63 Jakarta Selatan, harus kembali bekerja guna memuaskan hasrat mahasiswa S2 ini.
“Setelah mengganti kanvas kopling dan koil, gw merasa motor gw harus gw rubah lagi biar powernya makin besar buat membawa bobot badan gw yang gede,” jelas Adit.
Atas permintaan Adit, Afandi pun mulai memainkan rubahan pada sektor mesinnya. Afandi merubah durasi kem standarnya dari 260 derajad menjadi 280 derajad, porting polish, setel klep serta penambahan kapasitas mesinnya menjadi 165 cc. Selain itu, Afandi juga menggunakan busi Iridium dari Autolite dan merubah gir depan dari 14/42 jadi 15/42.
Usai masa inreyen dari rubahan mesinnya, Afandi dan Adit membawa V-Ixion nya keatas mesin Dyno di kawasan Pasar Senen, Jakarta Pusat. Dari hasil rubahan mesinnya, hasil yang keluar dari mesin Dyno juga terjadi perubahan yang cukup signifikan, tenaganya bertambah hingga 7 dk.
“Awalnya kem dirubah hingga 300 derajad, tapi yang punya merasa kurang nyaman karena tenaga motornya jadi terlalu liar. Akhirnya gw rubah lagi kem nya jadi 280 derajad. Dari rubahan ini, luaran tenaga yang tercatat dari mesin Dyno sampai 20 dk padahal standarnya hanya 13 dk,” pungkas Afandi.
