JMCS 2010 Resmi Dibuka

GilaMotor, JAKARTA. – Perhelatan akbar Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2010 resmi dibuka dengan ditandai lima kali pemukulan gong oleh Wakil Menteri Perindustrian, Prof. Dr. Ir. Alex S.W Retraubun Mcs, hari ini, Rabu (3/10).

Acara yang bertempat di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan dengan luas area mencapai 15 ribu meter per segi, akan diikuti oleh 5 ATPM anggota AISI seperti Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha dan keluarga baru AISI,  TVS, serta 1 ATPM non AISI, Bajaj. Selain para ATPM yang tergabung dalam AISI, Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2010 juga akan diikuti sekitar 30 perusahaan aksesoris dan komponen.
Seperti gelaran JMCS tahun 2008 silam, tema Safety Riding & Eco Friendly masih menjadi pokok dalam pameran besar ini. Menurut Gunadi Sinduwinata selaku Ketua Umum AISI, masalah keselamatan dan kendaraan ramah lingkungan masih menjadi pokok permasalahan yang harus di realisasikan.

Menurut Wakil Meneteri, Alex S.W Retraubun, laju pertumbuhan industri alat angkut, mesin dan peralatan dalam lima tahun terakhir (2005-2009) rata-rata mencapai angka pertumbuhan 28,55%. Angka ini berad diatas rata-rata pertumbuhan industri dalam periode yang sama sebesar 51&.

Untuk pertumbuhan sepeda motor sendiri tercatat sejak Januari hingga Agustus 2010 mencapai 35% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun 2009 lalu.

Selainn itu, Gunadi juga mengungkapkan bahwa gelaran JMCS ini adalah momentum yang tepat untuk mencapai target penjualan. “Pameran ini penting karena akan menjadi puncak dari produksi dan pemasaran sepeda motor tahun ini yang diperkirakan akan mencapai 7 juta unit,” ungkap Gunadi.
