Usai Operasi Rossi Istirahat 90 hari
GilaMotor, ROMA.- Usai menjajal mesin Ducati big bang dan screamer di Valencia setelah balap MotoGP seri terakhir, Rossi menjalani operasi untuk mengatasi cidera bahu yang dialaminya sejak awal musim 2010 lalu.
Operasi yang dilakukan di rumah sakit Cervessi di Cattolica oleh dokter Alex Castagna dari Milan Humanitas Institute, serta dokter Giuseppe Porcellini sebagai dokter spesialis cedera bahu berjalan dengan baik.
Operasi arthroscopic yang dijalani oleh Rossi difokuskan untuk menghilangkan cedera yang dialami nya. Dari hasil operasi tersebut, Rossi didiagnosis mengalami kerusakan pada tulang rawan yang berada pada supraspinatus tendon dan ligamen glenoid.
Cidera ini terjadi akibat kecelakaan saat latihan motorcross pada bulan April yang lalu.
“Sebenarnya cedera pada bahu Valentino sudah cukup parah, namun ternyata dia sanggup untuk menahan sakit cederanya dan tetap membalap,” ungkap dokter Castagna.
“Usai operasi ini Rossi butuh waktu 90 hari untuk masa pemulihan, namun kami berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk mempercepat masa pemulihan nya.”
Operasi yang juga dibantu oleh dokter Fabrizio Campi dan Paolo Paladini ini, berlangsung selama 2 jam sejak dari pukul 11.30 sampai pukul 13.30 waktu setempat. Dan kini Rossi masih terbaring untuk beristirahat sembari menunggu masa rehabilitasinya nanti.
