50th Anniversary : Yamaha Pajang Motor Balap Legendaris

GILAMOTOR.com. – Memasuki musim balap 2011, Yamaha Racing memastikan akan menggunakan logo 50th Anniversary. Logo ini boleh dikatakan sebagai tahun yang membanggakan bagi Yamaha karena talah mengikuti balapan kelas premium sejak tahun 1961.

Tahun itu, merupakan gelaran perdana Yamaha mengikuti balap MotoGP yang diselenggarakan di Perancis dengan dua pebalapnya, Teneharu Noguchi dan Fumio Ito.

Logo yang telah didesain secara khusus ini akan terpampang di kostum pebalap Yamaha, Jorge Lorenzo dan Ben Spies. Selain itu, logo 50 tahun Anniversary juga akan melekat di motor dan garasi tim balap pabrikan Yamaha.

Untuk memperingati 50 tahun kiprah di dunia balap, Yamaha akan menggelar serangkaian acara menarik di sirkuit Motegi, Jepang dan Assen, Belanda.

Selain itu, Yamaha juga akan menghadirkan motor-motor legendaris mereka selama terjut diajang MotoGP, seperti YZR-500 (OW20) 1974, Motor pabrikan pertama 500 cc dan YZR-500 (OW35K) 1978 yang  membawa Kenny Roberts meraih gelar juara dunia.
