Gilamotor.com, Jakarta. – Hajatan yang digelar secara sepontan alias dadakan oleh Yamaha, ternyata cukup mendapat sambutan baik. Pesertanya sendiri bukan hanya datang dari kalangan rider Yamaha, namun ada juga beberapa brand lain yang turut meramaikan perjalanan dari Jakarta – Bogor – Jakarta, Minggu (20/3).
“Acara ini hanya untuk senang-senang saja, melupakan sejenak kepenatan aktivitas kantor,†terang Paulus S. Firmanto. GM Promosi dan Divisi Motor Sport.
Diakui Paulus, acara ini tidak ada urusannya dengan promosi Yamaha, pasalnya ada juga brand lain yang ikut dalam acara bertajuk Sunday touring ini.
Pesertanya sendiri bersal dari beberapa petinggi YMKI dan para rider motor sport. Seperti Byson, Scorpio dan V-ixion, V-Max. Selain itu, ada juga rider Ducati dan Honda Goldwing, R1 dan FZ-8. Direncanakan, acara ini akan rutin dilaksanakan untuk mengisi waktu senggang di hari libur.
Sesampainya di Bogor, para rider bercengkrama membahas segala macam persoalan secara santai dan penuh guyonan di sebuah restoran Makaroni Panggang di Jl. Pangrango, Bogor.
Selepas itu, beberapa rider sempat menjajal motor Yamaha FZ-8 warna putih milik petinggi YKMI, Paulus S. Firmanto. Tak hanya itu, kesempatan sedikit mencicipi galaknya mesin Ducati Monster milik blogger, Rudi Triatmono, juga menjadi acara selingan sebelum kembali ke Jakarta.
“Saya disini hadir karena diundang Pak Paulus,†kata Bambang Asmarabudi mantan GM Promosi dan Divisi Motor Sport YMKI yang juga hadir dalam Sunday Touring dengan menunggangi motor Yamaha DragStar.
Bambang Asmarabudi sendiri mengharapkan agar acara semacam ini rutin dilaksanakan. Pasalanya menurut Bambang, orang yang sering naik motor tubuhnya akan terasa lebih muda. Karena saat riding, secara tidak sadar kita melatih otot-otot kaki, tangan serta otot mata. Selain itu, daya konsentrasi juga tetap terlatih.
