GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Kabar menggembirakan datang dari PT Bajaj Auto Indonesia (BAI) ATPM motor Bajaj di Indonesia. Di sela-sela perkenalan Presiden Direktur PT BAI yang baru, Tomotaka Ishikawa, di Jakarta, BAI mengatakan bahwa pihaknya juga akan menjual KTM Duke 125 di Indonesia.
Bajaj yang telah berkomitmen akan terus menjadi pemain di industri motor sport, tak ada minat pada segmen moped atau bebek dan skutik. Menurut Tomotaka, jika Bajaj bermain di banyak segemen akan menimbulkan kebingungan.
Ketika ditanya apakah BAI juga akan menghadirkan KTM Duke 125 di pasar Indonesia, secara tegas BAI mengatakan ‘ya’. Namun belum bisa dipastikan kapan BAI akan memboyong motor yang namanya besar di Austria itu ke Indonesia.
“Kami akan datangkan KTM Duke 125 ke Indonesia. Hanya saja kami belum bisa memastikan kapan waktunya,†terang lelaki asal Jepang yang akrab disapa Tom san.
Sebelumnya, BAI juga sempat mengabarkan bahwa pihaknya akan memperlihatkan KTM Duke 125 di gelaran Pekan Raya Jakarta di JiEXPO, Kemayoran, Jakarta, tahun ini. Namun sayang, karena di India sendiri KTM Duke 125 belum diluncurkan secara resmi, pihak Bajaj India pun belum memberikan lampu hijau kepada BAI untuk memamerkannya di PRJ.
Namun yang pasti, motor bergaya Supermotard ini akan diluncurkan di Indonesia melalui PT BAI.
