Honda New Blade, Siap Hadapi Jupiter Z

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) selaku Agen Pemegang Merek (APM) Honda di Indonesia mengakui bahwa di segmen motor bebek mid end, masih kalah dengan kompetitornya. Secara head to head, di pasar Tanah Air lawan Honda Blade adalah Yamaha Jupiter Z.

Sepanjang Januari – Juni 2011, Honda berhasil mempertahankan dominasi di segmen motor bebek setelah berhasil menjual 895.819 unit. Dari hasil itu, pangsa pasar motor Honda naik dari 52.1 % pada smester pertama 2010 menjadi 56,1 % pangsa pasar pada smester pertama tahun ini.

Pencapaian ini, menurut Honda, semakin mengukuhkan predikatnya sebagai “raja motor bebek”.

Menurut Agustinus Indra Putra, General Manager Marketing Planning & Analisys Division PT AHM, di segmen atas dan segmen bawah Honda masih memimpin penjualan di pasar Indonesia melalui dua produknya, SupraX 125 dan Revo 110.

“Kami mengakui di segmen bebek menengah, kami masih kalah dari kompetitor,” terang Agustinus di sela-sela peluncuran Honda New Blade di Senayan, Jakarta (28/7).

“Karena itu, kami menghadirkan New Honda Blade dengan tampilan yang benar-benar baru untuk memperkuat segmen itu dan merebutnya dari kompetitor,” tambahnya.

Untuk berhadapan dengan Yamaha Jupiter Z, selain dipersenjatai dengan tampilan baru New Blade juga dibekali dengan beberapa fitur handal, seperti rem cakram belakang dan depan, pijakan kaki pengendara yang fleksibel, serta bagasi luas berkapasitas 7 liter yang mampu menampung barang bawaan pengendara.

Mesin 110 cc SOHC, 4 langkah dengan sistem pendinginan udara, dibekali teknologi EFT (Efficient & Low-Friction Technology). Selain itu, Honda juga telah menyempurnakan mesinnya dengan teknologi baru, HVIC (Honda Variable Ignition Control technology).

Mesin ini, diklaim Honda mampu memuntahkan tenaga hingga 8,4 PS pada 7,500 rpm. Sementara torsinya mencapai 0.83 Kgf.m pada 5,500 rpm.

“Pada dasarnya New Honda Blade telah dikembangkan di Jepang. Tetapi pada pengembangan produk ini, Honda R&D Southeast Asia Co., Ltd. juga turut membantu dalam mengembangkan desain eksteriornya. Untuk itu, kami yakin bahwa model ini akan dapat memenuhi harapan para pelanggan di pasar Indonesia,” ungkap Kenji Kawaguchi, President Honda R&D Southeast Co.,Ltd. dalam kata sambutannya.

Dengan 4 pilihan warna, Honda membandrol New Blade Rp 14 juta on the road Jakarta. Sementara untuk varian Racing Special Edition, Honda membandrolnya dengan harga Rp 14.2 juta on the road Jakarta.

    bagus Honda BLADE yang lama. Yg ini kelihatan banget kalo mau jadi saingan Jupiter Z, tapi malah terkesan PLAGIAT pada akhirnya.

    Terus terang, sebagai penggemar motor Honda saya sedikit kecewa.
