Suzuki Siapkan Baby B-King 250

GILAMOTOR.com. – Ceruk pasar segmen motor 250cc sepertinya menjadi lahan yang menggiurkan. Setelah Kawasaki dan disusul Honda, Suzuki kini bersiap kembali dengan motor bermesin 250 cc nya.

Setelah masa kejayaan Thunder 250 mulai meredup, Suzuki GW 250 tengah bersiap meneruskan kejayaan Thunder 250. Seperti dilansir motorbeam.com, Rabu, 20 Juli 2011, Suzuki telah memproduksi motor yang dijuluki sebagai Baby B-King karena wujudnya yang nyaris serupa dengan Baby B-King, di China.

““Produksi secara massal GW 250 di Cina akan melepaskan dahaga pecinta motor sport di India karena India akan mengimpornya,” tulis laman tersebut mengutip sumber dari Suzuki India.

Langkah yang diambil untuk memproduksi Baby B-King di China dianggap mampu menekan biaya produksi karena upah buruh yang lebih murah. Sehingga harga yang dibandrol GW 250 kelak mampu bersaing di pasar.

Menariknya, proses produksi di Negeri Tirai Bambu itu dinilai bisa menekan ongkos produksi. Pasalnya, upah buruh di negara itu juga jauh lebih murah. Alhasil, harga motor tersebut juga lebih bersaing.

Motor 250 cc dari Suzuki itu direncanakan akan muncul di India pada gelaran India Auto Expo 2012 mendatang. Dengan mengusung mesin 250 cc, empat langkah, dua silinder, berpindingin cairan diperkirakan mampu memproduksi tenaga hingga 26 bhp pada 8.500 rpm dan torsi 24 Nm pada 7.000 rpm.

Lantas apakah motor tersebut juga akan hadir di Indonesia? Kita tunggu saja tanggal mainnya.
