V-Ixion Masih Jadi Primadona

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Setalah digempur dengan produk-produk baru Honda sejak awal 2011 lalu, Yamaha berhasil mempertahankan posisinya di segmen motor sport.

Yamaha menjelaskan, pihaknya masih menguasai penjualan di segmen motor sport. Konsistensi penjualan nya terjaga sejak Januari hingga Oktober 2011 dengan total penjualan sebanyak 273.301 unit.

Angka tersebut mengalami peningkatan sebesar 65.738 unit atau 24% dibanding periode yang sama (Januari-Oktober) tahun lalu yang hanya 207.563 unit. Yamaha V-Ixion menjadi penyumbang terbesar dengan total penjualan 205.921 unit sepanjang Januari-Oktober 2011.

Selama Oktober 2011, V-Ixion pun menjadi primadona dengan total penjualan sebesar 20.057 unit. Sedangkan Byson terjual sebanyak 4.162 unit dan Scorpio Z terjual sebanyak 3.343 unit. Sementara penjualan keseluruhan sepanjang Januari-Oktober 2011, Byson terjual sebanyak 43.691 unit dan Scorpio Z 23.689 unit.

Dikatakan Yamaha, segmen motor sport berkontribusi 10,5% dari total penjualan motor Yamaha di bulan Oktober tahun ini. Yamaha juga menjelaskan, facelift Scorpio Z yang baru dilakukan, meningkatkan optimismenya untuk menggenjot penjualan segmen motor sport dengan target 8.1% dari total penjualan di bulan November.

Scorpio Z teranyar memiliki striping dan kombinasi warna baru serta sudah mengaplikasi Automatic Headlight On (AHO).

Yamaha mengaku optimis dapat mencapai target penjualan motornya sebanyak 3.3 juta unit selama tahun 2011. Target tersebut tidak terhalang masalah banjir di Thailand yang berdampak pada pasokan suku cadang yang masih diimpor dari negeri Gajah Putih tersebut. Terhambatnya pasokan suku cadang memang diakui akan berdampak pada proses produksi, tapi stok unit untuk konsumen hingga akhir tahun masih mencukupi.

”Suplai beberapa spare part dari Thailand terhambat sehingga beberapa tipe motor Yamaha Indonesia mengalami penurunan produksi. Tapi untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen terjaga karena tetap tersedia stok ideal, jadi tidak perlu khawatir,” ujar Presiden Direktur Yamaha Indonesia, Dyonisius Beti.

“Target penjualan Yamaha juga tidak berubah,” tambahnya.

Lebih lanjut Dyon menjelaskan, sambil menunggu perkembangan dari Thailand, sampai akhir tahun ini stok motor Yamaha Indonesia masih cukup tersedia bagi konsumen.
