Tambah Kapasitas Produksi AHM Kucurkan Rp 104,3 Miliar

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Menyambut datangnya tahun 2012, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) telah bersiap untuk memenuhi permintaan sepeda motor tanah air yang diprediksi akan meningkat.

Dan mulai bulan Maret 2012, sebagian mesin produksi motor skutik Honda di Cikarang ditambah dan line assembling unit akan berproduksi dengan 3 shift. Tak hanya itu, kapasitas produksi direncanakan akan bertambah sebesar 200 ribu unit.

Dengan penambahan sebanyak 200 ribu unit itu, menjadikan total kapasitas produksi sepeda motor Honda di Indonesia mencapai 4,4 juta unit per tahun.

Dengan penambahan kapasitas produksi menjadi 4,4 juta unit pada tahun 2012, maka diharapkan AHM dapat memenuhi target penjualan sebesar 4,8 juta unit dengan memanfaatkan waktu kerja lembur.

Untuk memenuhi rencana itu, AHM akan mengucurkan kembali investasinya sebesar Rp 104,3 miliar.

“Kami menambah kapasitas produksi ini tidak hanya untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar yang terus meningkat tapi tentu akan menciptakan lapangan kerja baru bagi masyarakat dan memberikan nilai tambah bagi industri sepeda motor di Tanah Air,” kata Executive Vice President Director AHM Johannes Loman.

“Jumlah investasi yang dibutuhkan sekitar Rp104,3 miliar,” tegasnya.
