Ducati Akan Dijual Seharga Rp 14.4 Triliun

GILAMOTOR.com. – Financial Times (FT) melaporkan bahwa Ducati direncanakan akan dijual seharga lebih dari £1 billion ($1.6million) atau sekitar Rp 14.4 Triliun. Angka ini dilaporkan meningkat tiga kali lipat dari investasi awal.

Investindustrial awalnya mengusulkan agar pabrikan Italia itu dijual dalam daftar bursa saham Hong Kong pada tahun 2011. Namun akhirnya pabrikan motor Italia itu akan dijual kepada grup perusahan mobil besar.

Menurut ketua Investindustrial, Andrea Bonomi kepada Financial Times, Ducati kini telah menjadi perusahaan yang sempurna. “tapi untuk pertumbuhan lebih lanjut membutuhkan dukungan mitra industry kelas dunia,” kata dia.

Dia menambahkan bahwa beberapa kelompok di Asia, Eropa dan Amerika Serikat tertarik untuk membelinya.

Dikatakan FT, orang dalam terpercaya telah mengabarkan bahwa calon pembeli potensial adalah produsen sepeda motor asal India, Mahindra, dan grup produsen mobil Eropa seperti Volkswagen dan BMW. Manun Mercedes Benz yang baru saja menjalin kemitraan dengan Ducati melalui Diavel AMG tidak disebutkan.

Niatan VW untuk membeli Ducati seperti kembali pada tahun 2009. Dulu petinggi VW, Ferdinand Piech sudah mencoba mengambil alih kembali Ducati seperti tahun 1985 ketika perusahaan sedang mengalami krisis keuangan.
