Yamaha Gaet Sponsor Baru MotoGP Musim 2012

GILAMOTOR.com. – Seperti dilansir dari laman Crash.net akhir Januari lalu, Yamaha secara resmi mengumumkan penandatanganan kerjasama dengan JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation (Eneos) pada musim balap MotoGP 2012. Sponsor baru tersebut merupakan perusahaan di belakang produk dan stasiun bahan bakar brand Eneos.

JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation sendiri menjadi sponsor resmi menggantikan Petronas yang mengumumkan penghentian kerjasama pada musim balap 2011.

“Kesepakatan kerjasama dengan perusahaan minyak dan energi itu sebagai Official Sponsor akan efektif mulai tanggal 31 Januari 2012, seiring sesi latihan resmi di sirkuit Sepang, Malaysia. Tes ini sendiri menjadi momentum kampanye tim untuk merebut gelar juara dunia MotoGP,” ungkap juru bicara Yamaha.

Namun demikian, belum dijelaskan apakah perjanjian ini akan berimbas kepada tampilan motor Jorge Lorenzo dan Ben Spies di lintasan MotoGP musim depan. Boleh jadi, kerja sama dengan Eneos ini mungkin akan memberi pengaruh pada kelir kuda besi milik Yamaha, pasalnya Enos memiliki ciri warna kombinasi dari merah, oranye, dan putih.
