Stoner Kalah Karena Tangan Mati Rasa

Masalah itu dirasakan Stoner sejak awal balapan. Hanya saja, di awal dia masih bisa mengatasi masalah itu. Namun menjelang akhir balapan, itu semakin tak terkendali.

“Itu dimulai sangat awal pada balapan, sekitar lap sebelum aku memimpin. Aku sudah merasakan bahwa tangan ku akan mati rasa dan tangan kanan ku mulai tegang,” ujar Stoner.

“Saat aku memimpin di beberapa lap, aku sungguh mendapatkan masalah pada tekanan tangan. Aku kehilangan grip tanganku, aku kehilangan tekanan untun mencengkram grip ku,” aku Stoner.

“Jadi aku mulai melaju tak  seagresif seperti yang biasa aku lakukan.”

“Langkah itu cukup membantu untuk waktu yang cukup lama dan kami masih mampu untuk menarik diri dari semua pebalap. Itu sangat bagus dibanding dua sesi sebelumnya, latihan bebas dan kualifikasi, kami memiliki sedikit masalah.”

“Itu sedikit mengecewakan,” kata Stoner. “Aku merasa seperti backmaker di ujung sana, membiarkan semua orang melewatiku dan perlahan mulai menjauh,” keluh Stoner.

“Aku tidak memiliki kecepatan apapun, aku tidak bisa berpegang pada motor dan tidak bisa melakukan apa-apa.”

Kendati demikian, Stoner masih mengaku puas dan dia juga mengatakan bahwa jika tidak ada masalah pada tangannya, dia pasti bisa menjadi pemenang.

“Kami sangat senang dengan posisi ketiga,” aku Stoner. “Cara kecepatan kami dan semuanya di balapan, itu hanya diriku sendiri dan tangan kanan ku yang tak bisa melakukan tugasnya saat balapan.”
