YZF-R15 Sabet Penghargaan Desain Motor Terbaik

GILAMOTOR.com, New Delhi. – Motor sport 150 cc, Yamaha YZF-R15 mendapat apresiasi langsung dari Menteri Perdagangan dan Industri India sebagai motor dengan desain terbaik. YZF-R15 diganjar penghargaan I Mark (India Desain Mark).

“Saya sangat senang dengan pengakuan bahwa sepeda motor kami YZF-R15 telah diterima dengan baik. Penghargaan ini tidak hanya menyadari usaha kami tetapi juga memotivasi kita untuk terus menciptakan produk baru dan lebih inovatif lagi,” kata CEO & MD India Yamaha Motor, Hiroyuki Suzuki.

Selain Menteri Perdagangan dan Industri India, penilaian itu juga melibatkan Japan Institute of Design Promotion. Penghargaan itu diberikan kepada 31 dari 71 produk yang terdaftar. Dan YZF-R15 merupana satu dari empat produk merek Jepang yang masuk daftar I Mark.

Generasi terakhir YZF-R15 Version 2.0 hadir di India pada 2011 lalu dengan bandrol harga sekitar Rp 19.8 juta.

Motor ini dibekali mesin 149,8 cc SOHC 4-tak, 4 katup berpendingin cairan. Mesinnya diklaim Yamaha mampu memuntahkan tenaga hingga 17 PS pada 8.500 rpm dan torsi mencapai 15 Nm pada 7.500 rpm.
