GILAMOTOR.com, Surabaya. – Bersama Ekspedisi Nusantara Honda Absolute Revo 2012, motor bebek 110 cc pun mencatatkan rekor baru di industry sepeda motor Tanah Air dengan Mesin Menyala selama 341 jam non stop.
Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI) mencatat keberhasilan Honda Absolute Revo sebagai motor tipe Cub pertama dengan Mesin Motor Menyala selama 341 jam non stop. Upaya penorehan rekor baru ini dimulai oleh tim Ekspedisi Nusantara Honda Absolute Revo 2012 dari lapangan Merdeka Walk, Medan pada Jumat, 25 Mei dengan menggunakan 10 unit Honda Absolute Revo.
Setelah menyusuri Pulau Sumatera dan Pulau Jawa, hingga hari Jum’at  (08/06) tim ekspedisi ini telah menempuh perjalanan sejauh 4791 km dengan waktu tempuh 341 jam dalam kondisi mesin menyala non stop.
Sepanjang perjalanan, 10 unit Honda Absolute Revo yang digunakan dalam ekspedisi ini telah menaklukkan beragam kondisi jalan dan cuaca. Mulai dari kondisi jalanan mulus dan lurus, tanjakan dan turunan, kelokan tajam hingga jalanan rusak di pedesaan, kemacetan di jalanan serta cuaca panas terik dan juga hujan, Ekspedisi Nusantara Honda Absolute Revo yang melibatkan 60 riders dari berbagai klub atau komunitas motor ini telah membuktikan sendiri ketangguhan dan durabilitas mesin EFT (Efficient & Low Friction Technology) 4 tak berkapasitas 110cc motor bebek andalan Honda ini.
GM Marketing Planning and Analysis Division PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Agustinus Indraputra menyatakan Ekspedisi Nusantara Honda Absolute Revo ini awalnya menargetkan dapat mencetak rekor mesin motor nyala selama 400 jam dengan menyiapkan rute khusus melalui Bengkulu. Namun karena kendala jalanan longsor di daerah Bengkulu, akhirnya diambil rute lain sehingga total waktu tempuh tercatat 341 jam.
“Rekor baru MURI ini merupakan salah satu pengakuan dan bukti nyata atas ketangguhan Honda Absolute Revo. Rekor ini akan semakin memantapkan posisi Revo sebagai pilihan utama masyarakat untuk menemani kegiatan sehari-hari dalam mewujudkan mimpi mereka,†ujarnya.
Setelah finish di Surabaya, tim Ekspedisi Nusantara Honda Absolute Revo akan menyeberang ke Pulau Sulawesi untuk menuntaskan perjalanan mereka mencetak rekor lain yaitu turing dengan jarak perjalanan terjauh yang diperkirakan melebihi 6.318 km.
Tim ini juga akan melanjutkan misi lainnya, terutama mengapresiasi para pejuang kehidupan, dan berbagai kegiatan sosial lain seperti pemeriksaan kesehatan ringan gratis, aksi donor 500 kantong darah.
