Tahun 2010 lalu, 10 Gilmoters yang beruntung bisa menginjakkan kaki di sirkuit Sepang dan sekaligus menjadi saksi perolehan gelar juara dunia pertama Jorge Lorenzo di kelas premier.
Menyaksikan secara langsung gemuruh dan hiruk-pikuk sirkuit Sepang memang memberikan kesan dan pengalaman tersendiri bagi Gilmoters.
Mendengar langsung bagaimana dahsyatnya raungan mesin yang keluar dari moncong knalpot motor para pebalap kelas dunia, profesionalisme penyelenggara menggelar event berkelas dunia serta eksotisme motor-motor besar yang datang dari berbagai wilayah Malaysia menjadi pengalaman yang luar biasa. Dan yang tak ketinggalan, kehadiran para gadis paddock dan penjaga stand yang mampu menyegarkan suasana di tengah teriknya matahari Sepang.
Anisa Feradiba, gadis berusia 21 tahun asal Tangerang ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengalaman pertamanya menyaksikan langsung MotoGP sungguh tak akan terlupakan.
“Waahh, kereen banget.. Seneeng dan wahh deh pokoknya,†tutur gadis yang nge-fan banget sama pebalap Honda, Dani Pedrosa.
“Beda banget dengan nonton di rumah, di sini aku bisa mendenger langsung suara mesinnya. Gilaaa kenceng bangeet, gak bisa terlupakan deh pokoknya, kereen bangeet,†ungkap nya bangga.
Senada dengan Anis Pedrosa, Harto Hamid, Gilmoters dari Nusa Tenggara Timur juga mengungkapkan pengalaman yang serupa. Kendati dirinya sering bepergian ke luar negeri, namun menyaksikan balapan MotoGP secara langsung adalah pengalaman pertamanya.
“Terimakasih GilaMotor dan Evalube, ini merupakan pengalaman pertama saya nonton langsung MotoGP dari sirkuit,†ungkap lelaki dari wilayah Timur Indonesia ini.
“Yang luar biasa adalah mendengar raungan mesinnya itu, kalau di TV yah hanya seperti itu, tapi di sini saya bisa merasakan langsung kedahsyatannya. Saat di paddock, mesin motornya seperti mesin rusak, kasar. Tapi saat throttle dibuka, sensasi mendengar suaranya gak bisa diungkapkan dengan kata-kata. Terlebih saat berjalan di sirkuit, seperti suara nyamuk, ngwiiiiiiingg..,†cerita Harto.
Dan yang lebih menyentuh hati adalah pengalaman Matias Suwanto alias Gajah Pesing. Lelaki asal Surabaya ini mengaku hingga meneteskan air mata saat berada di tribun penonton dan mendengar langsung jeritan mesin motor MotoGP. Bukan karena kelilipan atau matanya sakit, namun rasa syukur dan bangga atas nikmat tuhan yang diberikan kepadanya sehingga bisa menyaksikan dan mendengar langsung gemuruh suasana balapan MotoGP.
“Jujur, saya sampai meneteskan air mata. Saya tak bisa mengungkapkan dengan kata-kata menyaksikan dan mendengar langsung suara motor-motor pebalap kelas dunia. Sebuah kenikmatan tersendiri bagi saya mendengar raungan mesinnya, sungguh luar bisa. Entah bagaimana mengungkapkan dan menggambarkan rasa yang berkecamuk dalam hati saya,†ungkapnya.
“Ini adalah sebagian kecil nikmat tuhan yang diberikan kepada saya, tapi saya rasa ini sungguh luar biasa. Masalah jalan-jalan dan city touring keliling Malaysia tidak terlalu menarik bagi saya. Tapi pengalaman berada dekat dengan para pebalap dunia dan motornya, sungguh nikmat yang sangat luar biasa,†tambahnya.

Berbeda dengan ketiga Gilmoters yang memang baru pertama kali memyaksikan langsung gelaran MotoGP, Ahmad Jayadi yang sudah pernah menyaksikan langsung di Motegi, Jepang, justru menyayangkan mengapa Indonesia belum bisa melakukan seperti apa yang dilakukan Malaysia.
Menurutnya, Indonesia tak berbeda jauh dari Malaysia bahkan mungkin lebih baik, tapi mengapa Indonesia tidak bisa menjadi tuan rumah penyelenggaraan MotoGP. Padahal di Indonesia penggemar MotoGP sangat banyak.
“Penyelenggaranya sangat professional, mereka telah memperhitungkan dari hal terkecil. Saya pikir Indonesia bisa menggelar event seperti di Sepang ini, hanya tinggal SDM nya saja yang menjalankan tugas dan amanat dengan sebaik-baiknya untuk kemajuan bangsa dan dunia balap motor Indonesia,†ungkapnya.
