New V-Ixion Lightning, Tenaga Lebih Besar

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) secara resmi memperkenalkan All New V-Ixion Lightning di helatan Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2012, hari ini (31 Oktober 2012).

Yamaha memberi tag line motor yang saat dinyalakan langsung menyapa dengan tulisan ”HI bro” pada meter kombinasinya, terinspirasi dari YZF-R1. Begitu kata Yamaha.

Motor ini didesain Sakata-san yang mendesain YZF-R1. Karena itu sentuhan fisik V-Ixion Lightning begitu kental seperti motor sport Yamaha berkapasitas 1000 cc, YZF-R1.

”V-Ixion Lightning akan semakin memperkuat ketangguhan Yamaha di segmen sport Indonesia. Akan meneruskan kebesaran V-Ixion yang menjadi motor sport pujaan lelaki. Dengan tampilan baru dan dipermanis grafis dan warna baru, V-Ixion Lightning bakal jadi favorit konsumen,” papar Indra Dwi Sunda, PR Corporate & Communication Head Yamaha Indonesia.

Banyak yang ditawarkan V-Ixion kepada para pecintanya, di antaranya desain depan motor dengan tampilan lebih gagah dan lampu baru dengan sporty visor. Bagian belakang motor juga tampil baru lagi dengan velg dan ban lebih besar ukuran 120/70. Bagian samping motor lebih artistik dimana lekukan bodinya memiliki sudut-sudut tajam seperti aerodynamic device, terlihat berotot dan solid di bagian depan tapi langsing dan lancip di bagian belakang.

Grafis V-Ixion Lighting sporty minimalis untuk menampilkan lekuk bodi dan kesan premium pada bodi motor. Ada lima warna yang tersedia yaitu putih merah, merah hitam, hitam solid dan champagne gold.

Spesifikasi mesin V-Ixion Lightning tidak berubah tapi ada penyesuaian kemampuan mesin pada kaki-kakinya yang sudah menggunakan velg dan ban lebar.

“Tenaganya naik 1,5 PS. Selain itu fitur-fiturnya lebih canggih dan kita menambahkan beberapa sensor pada mesin dan spedometer,” kata M. Abidin Assistant GM Service and Promotion YIMM.

Tipe mesinnya tetap 4-langkah, 4 valve, SOHC, berpendingin cairan dan berkapasitas 150 cc. Mesin ini diklaim Yamaha mampu menghasilkan tenaga hingga 11,1 kW di putaran 8.500 rpm dengan torsi puncak mencapai 13,1 Nm di 7.500 rpm.

Bicara masalah harga jualnya, Yamaha belum memberikan informasi. Tapi diperkirakan akan lebih mahal Rp 1 juta dari V-Ixion generasi lawasnya.
