GILAMOTOR.com. – Ada lima kelompok pengendara di jalan raya. Sayangnya, empat dari lima kelompok itu adalah kelompok yang cenderung menjadi penyumbang kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan raya.

Menurut Jusri Pulubuhu, Chief Instructor dari Jakarta Defensive Driving Consulting (JDDC) mengatakan, sangat mudah ditemukan empat kelompok pengendara penyumbang kecelakaan di jalan raya ketimbang satu kelompok pengendara yang berusaha menerapkan tertip berlalu lintas.
“Empat kelompok itu bisa dilihat dari parameter etika berlalu lintas yang kacau balau, angka kecelakaan tinggi, tingkat kerugian akibat kecelakaan, proses pembuatan sim yang begitu mudah dan orang tua yang membiarkan anak-anak di bawah umur mengoprasikan kendaraan,†kata Jusri.
Kelompok pertama adalah kelompok yang tidak tahu apa yang dilakukan. Kelompok ini adalah para pengendara yang benar-benar tak mengerti etika dan peraturan lalu lintas. Dia hanya berkendara mengikuti orang lain dan apa yang menurutnya benar.
Kelompok kedua adalah kelompok yang tahu apa yang dia lakukan. Kelompok ini adalah para pengendara yang meremehkan bahaya dan resiko.
Kelompok ketiga adalah pengendara yang tahu tapi dia tak lakukan. Kelompok ini adalah orang-orang yang sekedar mendengar, mengerti tapi tak melakukan. Atau dia hanya sekedar melakukan tetapi tidak mengerti arti sebernarnya apa yang dia lakukan.
Kelompok ini katakanlah orang-orang yang pernah mengikuti pelatihan. Dia hanya mendengarkan tapi tak mengerti apa arti tentang hal yang dia dengarkan.
Kelompok keempat adalah kelompok orang-orang yang tidak tahu tapi sok tahu. Kelompok ini adalah orang-orang yang stubborn, yang keras kepala. Dikasih tahu tapi dia merasa sok tahu.
“Kelompok keempat ini orang yang keras kepala seperti dikasih tau dia bilang “No†aku sudah tahu, aku sudah 20 tahun bawa motor, aku ini pejabat, pendidik, guru, pelatih, padahal apa yang dia lakukan adalah salah,†ungkap Jusri.
“Kelompok ini adalah orang-orang yang tidak diharapkan. Karena harusnya dia memberi contoh yang baik kepada pengendara lain,†tambah Jusri.
Nah, kelompok yang kelima adalah orang-orang yang tahu dan dia lakukan dengan benar. Orang-orang ini betul-betul mendengar, melihat dan mengerti apa yang dia lihat dan dengar dan dilakukan dengan benar.
Sayangnya lagi, kelompok terakhir ini adalah kaum minimalis yang selalu tersingkir.
“Kelompok lima ini sangat rapuh, karena dia tahu dia sadar dan dia lakukan dengan benar tapi lingkungannya didominasi oleh orang-orang dari kelompok yang empat tadi.â€
“Sebagai contoh saat di lampu merah dia sudah berada di posisi yang benar, tapi orang-orang dari empat kelompok tadi melakukan intimidasi dengan klakson dan sebagainya. Sesekali dia mengalah dan akhirnya tanpa sadar dia terpaksa mengikuti orang-orang dari ciri empat kelompok itu. Kelamaan akhirnya terpengaruh dan kembali ke jalan yang salah,†ungkap Jusri.
