Mesin Baru Honda 400 cc, Tenaganya Setara Mesin 600 cc

GILAMOTOR.com. – Raksasa ini sepertinya nggak mau tanggung nguasain semua segmen motor sport. Dari 150 cc, 250 cc terus kemarin langsung brojolin beberapa varian di kelas 500 cc macam CBR500R, CB500F dan CB500X. Sekarang raksasa otomotif roda dua bernama Honda itu memperkenalkan lagi mesin Twin 400 cc DOHC.

Belum tau mesin ini bakal dicangkokkan di motor jenis apa. Apakah motor sport atau sport touring. Tapi yang pasti Honda bilang kalau mesinnya lebih bertenaga dari CBR250. Ya iyalahh.. Secara kapasitasnya aja hampir dua kali lipat lebih gede dari CBR250R. Tapi Honda juga bilang kalau mesin baru ini punya tenaga yang nggak jauh beda dari mesin CBR600.

“Mesin ini bertenaga lebih besar dibandingkan mesin CBR250, dan powernya juga tidak kurang dari yang dihasilkan CBR600,” klaim Honda seperti diberitakan autoevolution. Hemm.. Menarik juga yah..!!

Kalau dilihat dari spesifikasinya, mesin ini punya tenaga di kitiran menengah sampe atas yang joss.. Liat aja bore segede 67 mm tapi panjang stroke nya dikurangin dari ukuran yang dipakai mesin 500 cc, dari 66.8 mm jadi 56.6 mm.

Honda sepertinya mau ngincar pasar 400 cc yang saat ini diisi oleh Kawasaki melalui ER4N dan Ninja 400. Kalau memang mau mengusik ketenanggan hidup ER4N dan Ninja 400, terus Ninja 300 yang baru dilepas Kawasaki gimana..? Tungguin aja, Honda pasti nggak tinggal diam buat kasih pilihan bikers yang mau beranjak ke cc yang lebih besar. Hehehee.
