GILAMOTOR.com. – Semangat menggebu terpancar di kubu Yamaha saat peluncuran tim balap musim 2013. Yamaha langsung memasan tag line “Bersatu Untuk Menang.†Berbekal hasil bagus tahun lalu dimana Yamaha nyaris 100 persen mendominasi semua kelas, tahun ini Yamaha datang penuh percaya diri bareng Jupiter Z1 FI nya. Dan akan tampil lebih baik dari tahun lalu.
“Dengan line up tim dan pembalap tahun ini di tiga ajang yang diikuti yaitu Indoprix, Motoprix dan Kejurnas Supersport, kami optimis bisa tetap mendominasi gelar juara seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya,†yakin Suprianto, Manager Motorsport Yamaha Indonesia di sela-sela peluncuran tim balapnya di gedung utama kantor Yamaha di Pulo Gadung, Jakarta (28/2).
Musim ini Yamaha menerjunkan 74 pembalap dari 36 tim berbeda yang akan mengisi kejuaraan Indoprix, Motoprix region 1-5 dan Kejurnas Supersport. “Komposisi tim tahun ini membuat kami optimis bisa menguasai semua kelas. Selain manajemen yang professional dan mendukung kebutuhan tim, membuat para pembalap makin terpacu untuk berprestasi,†katanya lagi.
Sementara Vice President Director PT YIMM Dyonisius Beti meyakini kalau tim balap Yamaha akan sukses di tahun ini. Meski diakui Dyon kalau balapan kini banyak dijadikan bisnis yang membuat semangat balap itu keluar dari jalurnya, tapi diharapkan Dyon persaingan akan bejalan fair. “Kami melihat kalau balapan sekarang sudah jadi lahan bisnis yang membuat semangat balapan itu keluar dari jalurnya. Karena itu Yamaha kembali ke semangat awal sebagai merek yang punya DNA balap sejak dulu. Tahun 2013 kompetisi akan kian berat karena regulasi yang ada seperti menghambat Yamaha. Kami harapkan fair saja. Tapi kami tetap yakin akan meraih suskes di tahun ini,†yakin Dyon.
Memang sebelumnya Yamaha sempat protes keras masalah regulasi penggunaan bahan bakar oktan 95 atau Pertamax Plus. Karena penetapan regulasi itu dinilai mendadak sehingga akan mengacaukan riset yang sudah berjalan sejak tahun lalu. Tapi peraturan sudah disahkan, mau tak mau Yamaha ikut saja. Bahkan Yamaha sempat akan mundur dari Indoprix karena regulasi masalah oktan bahan bakar itu dinilai terlalu mendadak. “Tidak bisa mendadak seperti itu dong. Masalahnya kita sudah riset dari tahun lalu tapi tiba-tiba saat musim mau bergulir regulasi berubah,†keluh M. Abidin GM Service Yamaha Indonesia beberapa waktu lalu di Jakarta.
Tapi akhirnya Yamaha melunak dan mengikuti peraturan yang sudah ditetapkan otoritas penyelenggara Indoprix.
Memang regulasi masalah RON 95 itu dibuat untuk kebaikan bersama karena mudah didapat. Maklum, itu produk dalam negeri jadi nggak perlu blusukan buat nyari Pertamax Plus. Kedua, biayanya juga jadi lebih murah dan semua tim bisa merata balapan dengan RON 95.
