Indonesia Exploride: Jejak Petualang Khatulistiwa

GILAMOTOR.com. – Menjawab keluhan pemirsa televisi dan para pecinta touring di Indonesia saat Indonesia Exploride (IE) ditanyangkan di Global TV awal tahun lalu, IE tahap kedua kali ini akan dikemas berbeda. Menurut Wulung ‘ungki’ Damardoto, sosok dibalik IE, perjalanan kali ini akan lebih banyak menyentuh masalah riding, riding dan riding. Tapi tentunya sedikit sisipan masalah aksi sosial dan budaya khasanah Indonesia. Maklum bro en sis, tentunya kebutuhan dan permintaan sponsor juga harus dipenuhi.

“Tahun lalu saya dapat kritikan yang membangun masalah IE oleh banyak bikers Indonesia karena dinilai lebih banyak mengulas masalah senang-senang, makan-makan dan sedikit mengulas masalah riding-nya. Tapi kali ini IE bakal lebih seru untuk ditonton karena lebih dari 70% akan menanyangkan perjalanannya, masalah yang dihadapi di perjalanan tanpa ada rekayasa dan tentunya lokasi-lokasi wisata nan eksotis yang jarang dan nyaris tak terekspose,” terang lelaki yang akrab disapa Ungki ini dalam jumpa wartawan di Motoritz, Mahakam Jakarta, hari ini (6/3).

IE kali ini, Ungki menggandeng Jejak Petualang (JP) Trans 7 sebagai official TV. Makanya nama programnya Indonesia Exploride Jejak Petualang Khatuliswa. Kalau IE terdahulu Ungki lebih banyak dikelilingi oleh banyak artis-artis cantik macam Donita, Cut Mini sampai Nadine Chandrawinata, IE kali ini Ungki bakal ditemani oleh sosok lady biker yang bukan dari kalangan selebritis. Sayang, rider cewek nya masih belum ketemu. Soalnya pihak JP Trans 7 masih menyeleksi cewek pendamping Ungki yang bakal riding dengan Husqvarna TE630. Nggak mudah loh nyari lady biker yang siap riding selama lebih dari 100 hari dengan moge. Apalagi jalurnya nggak melulu on road, tapi banyak juga jalur off road-nya.

Ada dua motor yang jadi tunggangan pemeran utama Ungki dan lady biker yang masih tanda tanya itu, Husqvarna Tera 650 dan TE 630. Kedua riders itu akan melahap jalur on road dan off road di pedalaman Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku dan Papua. Tim IE akan memulai perjalananya pada Maret mendatang dari kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat dan akan berakhir di Marauke, Papua. Jalur ini melengkapi jalur yang sudah dilalui pada IE tahap pertama tahun lalu.

Menurut Ungki yang juga penulis buku ‘Petualang Pintar Petualang Bodoh’ ini yakin kerjasama dengan JP Trans 7 akan menghasilkan sebuah tayangan tv yang berkualitas, mendidik dan berbeda untuk menjawab kebutuhan para petualang serta bikers di seluruh Indonesia pada khususnya dan masyarakat luas secara umum tentang petualangan merenda Nusantara ini.

Eh iya, IE Jejak Petualang Khatuliswa bakal tayang sebanyak 24 episode para Juli 2013 mendatang.
