GILAMOTOR.com. – Sap7aranu (dibaca: Saptaranu) adalah sebuah program eksplorasi alam Indonesia oleh 4 orang dengan 4 motor. Reza Amrullah adalah pencetusnya. Berawal dari perjalanannya di kawasan Danau Ranau, Sumatera Barat, yang punya kisah di balik kemegahannya, akhirnya terpikir kalau danau lain di nusantara pasti menyimpan banyak sejarah pula.

“Saptaranu dimulai sejak saya survey ke Danau Ranau untuk gelaran acara ‘Gathering Nusantaride’. Saat itu saya tertarik karena Danau Ranau punya kisah legenda dan berbagai keindahan lainnya. Itu baru Ranau. Bagaimana dengan danau-danau lainnya? Pasti punya banyak kisah pula di dalamnya,” pikirnya waktu itu. Danau biasanya terletak di lokasi terpencil dengan akses yang sulit sehingga segala potensi yang ada pastinya belum banyak diketahui secara umum. “Mengungkapkan potensi-potensi itulah yang jadi alasan mendasar tentang pemilihan danau sebagai obyek pengamatan utama,” jelas lelaki yang punya gawean sebagai freelancer system developer (programmer).

Lelaki kelahiran Jakarta, 5 April 1960 ini memang sudah keranjingan naik motor sejak duduk di bangku SMP. Dulu, motor dianggapnya sebagai sarana transportasi paling mudah dan murah dalam hal pemakaian dan perawatannya. “Motor adalah alat transportasi yang memiliki banyak kelebihan. Bisa membawa kita hampir ke manapun. Kita bisa menikmati hobi bermotor sambil membagikan kesenangan itu dengan merekam kegiatan yang kami sebut sebagai Saptaranu.”

“Saptaranu adalah kerja keras untuk mewujudkan mimpi membuat rekaman perjalanan bermotor keliling Indonesia,” ucapnya bersemangat.

Saat ini, banyak bikers yang membuat acara serupa yang mengatas namakan pemperkenalkan keindahan alam dan wisata Indonesia kepada masyarakat dunia macam Indonesia Exploride dan Ring of Fire Indonesia. “Saptaranu berbeda dengan Indonesia Exploride dan Ring of Fire Indonesia dalam banyak hal. Kami tidak didukung oleh tim besar yang dilengkapi dengan kendaraan roda 4. Segala kendala yang terjadi di perjalanan akan kami hadapi sendiri. Kami juga tidak didukung oleh tim audio-visual. Foto dan video akan kami ambil sendiri. Kami yakin dengan segala kesederhanaan akan mampu memberikan hasil yang baik,” tegasnya.
