Jatuh Saat Kecepatan Lebih Dari 300 KpJ, Marquez Lolos Dari Cedera Serius

GILAMOTOR.com – Rookie MotoGP Marc Marquez terjatuh saat memacu motornya di kisaran kecepatan 320 km per jam di trek lurus Sirkuit Mugello, Jum’at (31/5) saat sesi latihan bebas (FP) 2 berlangsung.

#Update: Statement dari HRC : “Marquez tampaknya baik-baik saja, hanya mengalami bengkak besar pada area dagu akibat benturan serius.”

Di trek lurus terpanjang itu pembalap bisa mencatatkan kecepatan puncaknya di atas 300 km/jam. Tahun 2009 Dani Pedrosa mencatatkan kecepatan puncaknya mencapai 349 km/jam. Sebelum kecelakaan, Marquez mencatatkan kecepatan puncaknya 342 km/jam.

Di trek lurus terpanjang itu, motor tunggangan Marquez sedikit berbelok ke arah kiri sehingga dia berjalan di luar trek. Di kecepatan lebih dari 300 km per jam, melaju di atas rumput dan kerikil, membuat Marquez kehilangan keseimbangan. Dan seketika itu pula dia terjatuh dan terseret.

Beruntung tubuh Marquez tak menabrak dinding beton pembatas. Saat motor berhenti terlihat dia masih sadar dan bisa menggerakkan tubuhnya. Namun demikian, dia perlu menjalani pemeriksaan medis. Dia ditandu oleh tim medis dan dibawa ke ambulan untuk kemudian menjalani pemeriksaan di pusat medis Sirkuit Mugello.

Selang beberapa menit, pembalap Yamaha Tech 3 Bradley Smith juga terjauh dan tubuhnya terbanting keras ke aspal. Meski dia masih bisa bergerak dan sadar, dia hanya bisa duduk di gravel sambil menahan rasa sakit di lengan kirinya.
