First Ride Yamaha Force, Membuktikan Torsi Force

Okelah kalau begitu. Kebetulan, di rute pertama sekitar 2.5 km, reporter Gilamotor.com membonceng reporter dari DetikOto yang punya badan lumayan tinggi. Dia bilang, duduk di kursi belakang cukup nyaman. Bukan hanya duduk di kursi penumpang aja sih yang nyaman, jadi pengendaranya pun nyaman. Posisi duduk ergonomis, suspensi empuk, handling juga ringan.

Terus gimana tenaganya.? Seperti dikatakan Yamaha, keunggulan Force ada pada torsinya berkat pemanfaatan teknologi yang diaplikasi di Jupiter Z1 seperti forged piston, low friction technology dan spiny sleeves cylinder, bikin mesin makin kuat dan suhu lebih stabil. Paduan teknologi itu disempurnakan dengan sistem pembakubutan bahan bakar injeksi YMJET FI, bikin konsumsi bbm nya lebih irit 21 persen dibanding model Vega.

Di atas kertas, tenaga dan torsi Force memang kalah dari Jupiter Z1, tapi torsinya hanya beda tipis dari Z1 yang terbukti handal di sirkuit.

Secara spek, Force jelas beda dengan Jupiter Z1. Tapi torsinya hampir sama namun torsi puncak Force dapat dicapai di rpm lebih rendah. Mesin 115cc 4 tak satu silinder SOHC diklaim Yamaha punya luaran tenaga 8.72 PS pada 7.000 rpm dan torsinya 9.53 Nm pada 5.500 rpm. Sementara Jupiter Z1 punya tenaga sampai 10,06 PS pada 7.750 rpm, sedang torsinya 9,9 Nm yang didapat di rpm lebih tinggi, 6.500 rpm. Nah, dengan spek seperti itu, jelas hentakan torsi Force lebih cepat terasa, motor jadi cepat bereaksi.

Mengangkut bobot lebih dari 150 kg [berboncengan] hentakan torsinya cukup terasa. Mesin tak perlu meraung keras untuk mengantar dua orang berbobot lebih dari 75 kg dari Ancol ke PRJ. Selain itu, berkat torsi besarnya, selap-selip dan melewati barisan mobil juga jadi lebih enak, soalnya di rpm bawah tenaga sudah didapat. Melewati tanjakan juga oke.

“Secara spek, kalau Jupiter Z1 punya keunggulan di torsi dan power yang lebih besar, top speed juga lebih mantap, karena Jupiter Z1 punya karakter racing yang kental. Sementara Force karakternya ke torsi untuk penggunaan harian yang lebih mantap,” ucap Bayu Asnawan, Supervisor Technical Publication of Service Division Yamaha Indonesia.

Force mengaplikasi injector 4 lubang dengan posisi injector di dalam throttle body. Selain itu, untuk memaksimalkan aliran fluida agar torsi lebih mudah didapat,  intake manifold Force diposisikan lebih tegak. Selain itu, Exhaust Pipe Header Force lebih panjang dan sudutnya lebih tegak sementara Jupiter Z1 lebih landai. Kemudian untuk koplingnya, Force mengaplikasi kopling spring – multiplat, kalau Jupiter Z1 diafragma – dual plat.

Memang tak memungkinkan untuk menjajal kecepatan penuh dengan membawa penumpang. Tapi sedikit curi-curi di jalan yang agak kosong. Gigi 1 gas poll sampai 35 km /jam, kalau tanpa penumpang belakang bisa 40 kpj. Masuk gigi dua, motor sedikit nyentak dan jarum speedo meter langsung naik ke 50 kpj. Lalu masuk gigi tiga kecepatan naik terus, 55 kpj, terus 60 kpj, terus turun lagi karena di depan jalannya ramai. Daripada celaka, mending ikutin arus lalu lintas aja. Biar lambat asal selamat dan barang bawaan bisa sampai ke tempatnya utuh tanpa kurang satu apa pun. Bukan begitu..?
