Mesin
KTM 1190 Adventure dan1190 Adventure R menggunakan mesin V 75 derajat, dua silinder, liquid-cooled, dengan pengapian busi ganda (twin plug ignition), injeksi. Mesin 1190 cc ini menghasilkan tenaga besar hingga mencapai 150 PS dengan torsi maksimum 125 Nm.
Fitur dan Teknologi
Mendukung tenaga yang besar dan memudahkan pengendara memacu 1190 Adventure, KTM menyematkan banyak fitur dan teknologi seperti engine management terbaru keluaran Keihin, drive-by-wire dan anti-hopping clutch.
Pengendaranya juga bisa mengatur suspensi yang diinginkan sesuai karakter jalan yang dilalui, melalui fitur Electronic WP Suspension pengendara dapat mengatur secara elektronik suspense KTM 1190 Adventure. Kelebihan lainnya adalah sistem pengereman ABS pada rem depan dan belakang yang bisa dinon-aktifkan, sehingga bisa menciptakan sensasi menyenangkan saat di tikungan.
Fitur lain yang disematkan adalah Traction Control dari Bosch untuk menunjang keselamatan pengendaranya. Tidak hanya itu pada motor penjelajah ini juga menawarkan sensor tekanan ban dan lima mode berkendara seperti Sport, Street, Rain, Offroad dan Off mode.
Jika KTM 1190 Adventure menggunakan perangkat suspensi travel dengan ukuran 210 milimeter, maka versi 1190 Adventure R memiliki dimensi yang lebih besar, yaitu 265 milimeter. Selain itu, pengaturan suspensi KTM 1190 Adventure dilakukan secara elektronik dengan tombol yang terdapat di kiri pengendara. Sedangkan 1190 Adventure R pengaturan suspensinya dilakukan secara manual.
Bobot dan Dimensi
Bobotnya sangat ringan untuk kelas adventure yaitu 250 kg dalam kondisi tangki bbm terisi penuh. Motor ini mampu menahan beban hingga 450 kg.
Sumbu roda 1190 Adventure mencapai 1,560mm dengan ground clearance setinggi 220mm. Tinggi jok ke tanah tanpa muatan 850/875mm.
Kelebihan lain, masa perawatan rutinnya sangat hemat, baru diservis setelah 15.000 km.
Harga
Di Indonesia, KTM 1190 Adventure dipasarkan dengan harga Rp 450 jutaan. Sementara untuk versi 1190 Adventure R dibandrol lebih mahal Rp 460 juta.
