Raih Posisi 28 Di Jerman, Topan Pulang Ke Jakarta

GILAMOTOR.com – Setelah sesi kualifikasi yang mengecewakan di GP Sachsenring Jerman di mana Anthony West melorot ke posisi 16, pembalap Australia itu kembali bangkit dan berhasil finish di posisi delapan di balapan seri kedelapan itu.

West kembali melorot ke posisi 20 kerena melakukan kesalahan saat start, West kembali naik ke posisi 16 di lap ketiga. West terus melesat naik hingga pada lap ke 22 West berhasil menempati posisi delapan.

Posisi itu betahan hingga garis finish.

Sementara rekan satu timnya asal Indonesia Rafid Topan Sucipto yang baru memulai debutnya di Moto2 tahun ini, bisa tersenyum setelah balapan usai. Pembalap yang disponsori oleh pelumas Evalube ini tak hanya mendapat banyak pelajaran, tapi juga berhasil finish di posisi 28.

“Aku senang dengan balapan dan berjalannya akhir pekan ini. Kami tak mengalami tak terjatuh sama sekali, kami terus meningkat dan posisi ke-28 jadi hasil yang bisa aku raih di balapan selanjutnya.”

Topan akan kembali ke Jakarta untuk liburan beberapa minggu sebelum balapan kembali digelar di Indianapolis pada 18 Agustus.

“Aku akan pulang ke Jakarta untuk liburan beberapa pekan, mengisi waktu dengan teman dan keluarga. Tentunya ini akan memberiku waktu untuk menyembuhkan tumit ku yang retak. Di Agustus, aku ingin lebih kuat dan lebih cepat,” janji Topan.
