Dari hasil spyshot itu, kelihatan beberapa ubahan pada tampilan Z1000SX Tourer, di antaranya adalah pannier baru yang kelihatan modis menyatu dengan bodi Z1000SX. Makin stylish dan lebih baik dari model terdahulu. Warnanya juga ada sedikit perubahan. Jika generasi terdahulu muka Z1000SX ada warna hitamnya, sekarang sudah total hijau semua. Terus kaliper remnya juga baru. Itu artinya Z1000SX sekarang sudah pakai sistem ABS.

Belum ada keterangan spek teknisnya. Apakah ada pengembangan performa atau penambahan teknologi di mesinnya atau masih sama dengan generasi terdahulu. Tapi kalau dilihat dari generasi terdahulu, motor ini pakai mesin 1.043cc, 4 tak DOHC 16 katup, 4 silinder segaris berpendingin cairan. Tenaganya bisa mencapai 138 PS pada 9.600 rpm dan torsi 110 Nm pada 7.800 rpm yang disalurkan ke roda melalui transmisi 6 percepatan.
