Dijelaskan Yamaha, sebelum Lebaran tiba, Yamaha membukukan kenaikan penjualan di bulan Juli 2013 ditandai dengan meledaknya penjualan Force.

Dari total keseluruhan penjualan sepanjang Juli 2013, naik 24 persen dibanding periode yang sama tahun lalu. Total 229.654 unit terjual di Juli 2013, lebih baik dari periode Juli 2012 dengan 185.783 unit. Ini dihitung dari matik 119.284 unit, bebek 57.060 unit dan sport 53.310 unit.

”Bebek naik 25 % dibandingkan Juni 2013, dimana ini tren positif buat Yamaha setelah di bulan Juni pun bebek naik 15 persen dikomparasi dengan Mei 2013. Gempuran motor bebek Yamaha di dua bulan beruntun ini turut memperlihatkan keberhasilan peluncuran dua wajah baru, Vega RR dan Force,” sebut Eko Prabowo, General Manager Marketing Communnication & Community Development Yamaha Indonesia.

Force melesat signifikan di pasar, naik 716 persen atau terjual 14.215 di bulan Juli 2013 dibandingkan Juni 2013. Bebek injeksi Yamaha teranyar ini mampu mencuri perhatian baik di Pulau Jawa maupun di luar Pulau Jawa.

Sementara itu, sport Yamaha masih yang tertinggi penjualannya di pasar Indonesia, 53.310 unit atau naik 33 % dibandingkan Juni 2013. New V-Ixion terjual 45.351 unit atau naik 27 % ketimbang sebulan sebelumnya dan Byson meningkat 90 % (7.392 unit).

Matik Yamaha masih kokoh sebagai penyumbang terbanyak penjualan di Juli tahun ini, 119.284 unit. Masih seperti satu bulan sebelumnya, Mio GT, Mio J dan Soul GT adalah tiga besar penyumbang terbanyak matik. Mio GT 35.007 unit, Mio J 32.847 unit, Soul GT 25.616 unit. Fino masih dicari konsumen, setelah ditopang edisi spesial Fino I Love Indonesia, ada kenaikan 48% atau terjual 6.817 unit.

Sepanjang Januari hingga Juli 2013, Yamaha telah menjual 1.508.935 unit motor, naik tipis dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu dengan penjualan 1.503.506 unit.
