Motor Baru Suzuki 150cc, Naked Bike Mesin Banar-Benar Baru

GILAMOTOR.com – Ada Yamaha V-Ixion, Byson, Honda CB150R, CBR150R, Verza, MegaPro dan ada juga Ninja 150. Itu beberapa motor sport 150cc yang ngisi pasar Indonesia. Angka jualannya lumayan banyak. Persaingannya pun makin ketat. Makanya Suzuki akan ikutan di kelas sport 150cc. Bukan Satria FU, soalnya itu beda kelas meski basis mesinnya pakai mesin motor sport yang dahulu sempat angkat pamor Suzuki, FXR150.

Di acara silaturrahmi Suzuki dengan wartawan di RollingStone Café Jakarta pada Jum’at [6/9] Suzuki buka-bukaan tentang rencana mereka di tahun depan. Rencananya buanyak banget bro en sis. Dari rencana meluncurkan motor sport 150cc sampai big bike bermesin 1.300cc. “Kami akan luncurkan moge di Indonesia,” ucap Kazumasa Watanabe, Managing Director di sela-sela temu muka itu.

Mogenya sudah ditulis portal ini di artikel sebelumnya, yaitu Hayabusa 1300cc dan V-Strom 650cc. Selain dua moge itu, Suzuki juga akan meluncurkan big scooter. Cuma nggak dipertegas sebesar apa itu skuter. Apakah Sky Wave 250 atau yang lainnya. “Kemarin waktu di PRJ kami memajang big scooter, ternyata peminatnya cukup banyak. Malah ada sekitar 20-an orang mau membelinya. Cuma waktu itu kita belum jual scooter itu,” katanya lagi.

Di kelas 150cc Suzuki sedang mempersiapkan mesin yang benar-benar baru. Bukan dari mesin FXR bukan juga dari GS150R. Pokoknya ini benar-benar baru supaya bisa bersaing dengan V-Ixion, CB150R dan kawan-kawan di kelasnya. “Bukan dari mesin FXR. Mesinnya benar-benar baru. Sekarang masih tahap develop,” jelas Kenji Mori, Export Section Head 2W PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales [SIS] yang tak mau menyebutkan seberapa jauh progress pengembangan mesin itu.

Modelnya ‘telanjang’ bukan fairing. Kalau yang fairing menyusul kemudian. “Untuk awal, motor 150cc itu hadir dalam versi naked. Kedepannya baru versi fairing,” tegas Watanabe.

  9. Mustinya keluarin dulu Thunder 150 buat memperkuat basis, kan di Vietnam ada tuh Thunder yg diupgrade jadi 150 buat menghadapi Byson dan Verza. Terus varian cruisernya seperti Marauder. Skywave juga naikin jadi 150 pake mesin sixteen 150. Juga Burgman 200 sebagai produk pajangan pendongkrak image seperti Inazuma.
