Tim VR46, Tim Baru Di Moto3 2014

GILAMOTOR.com – Tahun 2014, Valentino Rossi bakal punya tim balap sendiri. Hal itu sudah dikonfirmasi langsung oleh pembalap Italia itu. Tim nya bakal terjun di kelas Moto3. Romano Fenati dan kemungkinan besar adik tirinya Luca Marini akan jadi pembalapnya dengan motor KTM.

Rumor rencana Rossi bakal punya tim Moto3 memang sudah bergulir selama sebulan terakhir. Awalnya, rumor itu tak dihiraukan karena Rossi juga punya rencana membuka akademi balap berlebel VR46 Riders Academy.

Akademi balap yang digarapnya bertujuan untuk membantu para pembalap muda Italia mengembangkan bakat balapnya. Tujuannya untuk mengangkat riders Italia ke level lebih tinggi supaya tidak kalah dengan pembalap muda Spanyol. Maklum, sejauh ini Spanyol paling banyak punya pembalap top. Dan sebagai orang Italia, Rossi tak mau terus-terusan kalah dari Spanyol.

Saat rencana akademi pembalap itu sedang hot-hotnya dibahas, sebuah aplikasi pengajuan tim baru VR46/Sky team masuk ke meja FIM dan Dorna Sport untuk berpartisipasi ke kelas Moto3.

“Kami bergabung dengan Sky untuk memberi kesempatan pembalap Italia menjadi kompetitif dan mencapai tingkat tertinggi,” kata Rossi.
