Kualifikasi Final YCR, Persaingan Ketat Rebut Tiket Asean Cup Race

GILAMOTOR.com – Pagi hari, Sabtu 16 November 2013, cuaca di sekitar sirkuit Sentul Kecil kelabu. Tapi suasana di sekitar sirkuit tetap ceria. Raungan mesin motor para pembalap Yamaha Cup Race (YCR) di kualifikasi seri pamungkas meraung kencang disambut riuh suara penonton dari masyarakat sekitar dan para bikers dari klub/komunitas motor Yamaha.

Sempat turun hujan dengan intensitas rendah di sesi kualifikasi pagi. Tapi tak berlangsung lama. Lepas istirahat, matahari kembali ceria menerangi kawasan sirkuit kecil namun sangat teknikal itu.

Di kualifikasi YCR1(Bebek 4 Tak 125 cc Tune Up Seeded), Agus Setiawan, pembalap asal Solo yang bernaung di tim Yamaha Yamalube TDR FDR NKH Yonk Jaya sukses jadi pembalap tercepat dengan catatan waktu 56.697 detik. Posisinya ditempel rekan satu timnya Richard Taroreh. Pembalap asal Yogyakarta ini hanya tertinggal 0.577 detik dari Agus. Dan pembalap ketiga yang akan start dari baris terdepan di final YCR1 hari Minggu 17 November 2013 besok ada Sulung Giwa. Meski sempat terpuruk, tapi Sulung berhasil memperbaiki catatan waktunya dan hanya tertinggal dari 0.579 detik dari pemegang Superpole.

Agus yang tahun lalu merupakan jawara Yamaha Asean Cup Race kelas Underbone (MT135-Jupiter MX), menambah motivasinya untuk lolos lagi dan meraih gelar.

Namun, Richard Taroreh yang punya poin 40 dari hasil seri Cimahi, juga berpeluang besar untuk lolos jika finis bagus di depan besok. Sama halnya dengan Sulung Giwa yang memegang modal 38 poin dari kemenangan di kelas YCR1 seri Pekalongan. “Saya akan mengoreksi penampilan di seri terakhir Motoprix dua minggu lalu di sirkuit ini karena jatuh di lap-lap terakhir. Agar bisa fight maksimal karena saat di Motoprix saya sudah menemukan setingan motor maksimal di sini,” ujar Sulung.

Sementara di YCR2 (Bebek 4 Tak 110 cc Tune Up Seeded), catatan waktu tercepat pemegang posisi pole hingga posisi tiga sangat tipis.

Pembalap asal Tasikmalaya, Anggi Permana, berhasil mengamankan posisi terdepan. Anggi yang di YCR1 hanya bisa menempati posisi tercepat kelima, berhasil jadi pembalap tercepat di kualifikasi YCR2 dengan torehan waktu 57.467 detik. Posisi Anggi ditempel ketat oleh pembalap Yogyakarta, Yoga Adi P, yang hanya tertinggal 0.004 detik. Di susul oleh Sulung Giwa, rekan satu tim Yoga di posisi ketiga dengan catatan waktu 57.483 detik.

Pole kali ini sangat membantu Anggi untuk meraih hasil terbaik di race Minggu agar memperkuat poinnya untuk lolos ke Asean Cup Race, 30 November-1 Desember di Sentul International Circuit nanti.

Anggi sudah mengantongi 41 poin dari hasil seri. Sulung pun bermodal besar, 50 poin dari hasil seri. Tapi Yoga perlu kerja keras karena total hanya punya 31 poin dari hasil seri.

Sementara, persaingan di kelas Pemula sama halnya dengan kelas Seeded, masih didominasi pembalap-pembalap unggulan. Dan serunya, tiga pembalap terdepan Rheza Dhanica, Galang Hendra dan Syahrul Amin sama-sama mengantongi 25 poin dari hasil seri YCR3 dan YCR4.

Dari hasil Superpole, Rheza tampil dominan menguasai pole YCR3 (Bebek 4 Tak 125 cc Tune Up Seeded) dan YCR4 (Bebek 4 Tak 110 cc Tune Up Pemula). Rheza bakal bersaing keras dengan Syahrul Amin yg start dari posisi kedua dan Galang Hendra ketiga di YCR3. Dan di YCR4, Galang posisi kedua, Syahrul ketiga. “Kondisi saya sedang sakit demam tapi saya bersyukur masih bisa dapat start bagus untuk race besok,” ucap Galang.
