YACR Race I Kelas MT Jupiter Z1, Indonesia Jawaranya

GILAMOTOR.com – Herman Bass, Richard Taroreh dan Reza Dhanica, bekerja membentuk tim tangguh di balapan kelas MT (moped Jupiter Z1) di race I Yamaha Asean Cup Race (YACR) 2013, Minggu (1/12). Kerja sama tim dibentuk membuat kelompok untuk mengurangi tahanan angin. Syahrul Amin yang start dari posisi pole, berperan di awal balapan.

Sayangnya, Syahrul tak bisa mempertahankan posisinya untuk melawan gempuran tim Thailand yang punya kerjasama sangat apik. Tak pelak, Herman Bass dan Richard Taroreh harus bekerja sendiri-sendiri hingga finish. “Di awal sulit untuk membentuk tim untuk berjalan dalam satu rombongan. Saya pun akhirnya bekerja sendiri untuk mempertahankan posisi di depan,” ucap Herman Bass.

Sama seperti tim Indonesia, tim Thailand pun menjalankan strategi yang sama untuk membuat rombongan di tiap lapnya. Selain untuk pemecah angin, rombongan itu membuat sulit lawan untuk melesat ke depan karena harus berhadapan dengan beberapa pemabalap sebelum masuk ke barisan terdepan.

Setelah aksi saling susul, Herman Bass berhasil memenangkan race pertama YACR kelas MT Jupiter Z1 yang disusul oleh pembalap Thailand Peerapong Louisboonpeng.

Dua pembalap Indonesia lainnya, Richard Taroreh dan Reza Dhanica, menempati posisi tiga dan empat.
