17 Tahun Honda Supra, Terjual 14 Juta Unit

GILAMOTOR.com – 17 tahuh sudah Honda Supra mengaspal di pasar otomotif roda dua Indonesia.

Hadir pertama kali dengan nama Supra bermesin 100cc pada 1997. Pada tahun 2005, Honda Supra X dikembangkan dengan dibekali mesin 125cc. Setelah bertahun-tahun teruji ketangguhannya, Supra menjadi motor bebek terlaris dan dinobatkan oleh Honda sebagai Rajanya Motor Bebek kelas 125cc.

Executive Vice President Director AHM Johannes Loman mengatakan, selama 17 tahun Honda Supra series telah menemani sekitar 14 juta masyarakat Indonesia.

“Kami percaya model baru ini akan lebih menyatukan ikatan emosional dengan masyarakat Indonesia yang telah mendukung merek Supra X selama ini. Desainnya yang ramping dan sporti akan semakin disukai oleh anak muda. Kami berharap dapat terus menemani masyarakat Indonesia untuk mewujudkan impian mereka,” ucap Loman.

Meski diakui pasar segmen bebek terus tergerus oleh model matik dan sport, AHM yakin Supra X125FI mampu memberi kontribusi bagus pada pertumbuhan pasar motor bebek Honda.

Sepanjang Januari lalu, AHM mengatakan telah menjual Supra X 125 sebanyak 35.589 unit, terdiri dari karburator 32.150 unit dan FI helm-in 3.439 unit. Dengan hadirnya Supra X125 FI ini, AHM menaikkan target penjualannya menjadi 40.000 unit per bulan.
