Bebek Kawasaki Jalan Terus

GILAMOTOR.com – Tak seperti Kawasaki Ninja 150 dua tak yang tahun depan akan disuntik mati oleh Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI), motor bebek Kawasaki masih punya umur panjang.

Meski diakui permintaan motor bebek secara nasional terus mengecil dan KMI semakin fokus pada pasar motor sport premium, KMI akan tetap memproduksi motor bebek mereka.

“Memang beberapa tahun belakangan ini pasar motor bebek secara nasional terus menurun. Meski demikian permintaan masih tetap ada. Karena itu KMI akan tetap memproduksinya,” ucap Public Relation Head Dept. KMI, Freddyanto Basuki di Cikarang Barat, Bekasi, Jawa Barat, Selasa (8/4/2014).

Ditegaskan Freddy, meski KMI sekamin fokus menggarap pasar motor sport premium tapi KMI juga akan tetap mengisi pasar motor bebek. “Mungkin bebek di sini nasibnya kurang baik tapi kita bisa berkontribusi dengan ekspor ke Filipina, karena penjualan bebek Kawasaki di sana cukup besar,” tambah Freddy.

Saat ini KMI mengekpor bebek Athlete ke Filipina serta KLX dan Ninja RR Mono yang saat ini produksinya sedang digenjot di pabrik barunya di kawasan MM2100 Bekasi, Jawa Barat.
