Yamaha Revs CBU: Defensive Riding Training Pakai R25, R15 R6 dan T-Max

GILAMOTOR.com – Bersama komunitas Yamaha Revs CBU (YRC) Indonesia, Yamaha Indonesia mengadakan defensive riding training di Lapangan Parkir Pacuan Kuda, Pulomas, Sabtu 31 Mei kemarin.

Motor yang digunakan untuk pelatihan itu YZF-R25, YZF-R15 dan juga YZF-R6 dan T-Max.

Dikatakan Yamaha, inisiatif kegiatan ini datang dari YRC Indonesia yang sadar akan pentingnya safety riding di jalan raya mengendarai big bike. 30 orang konsumen CBU Yamaha dari Jabodetabek mendapatkan teori dan praktek defensive riding langsung dari Yamaha.

”Konsumen Indonesia belum tahu sepenuhnya mengenai safety riding big bike. Khususnya untuk Yamaha yang baru meluncurkan R15 dan R25, kami segera memberikan edukasi safety riding. Dan konsumen kami pun merespon positif bahkan mereka memang meminta secara khusus untuk diberikan edukasi tersebut,” papar Eko Prabowo, GM Marketing Communication & Community Development Yamaha Indonesia.

Sementara Ketua Yamaha Revs CBU (YRC) Indonesia, Sjahroedin Fatulyakin, yang akrab disapa Illy menanggapi kegiatan positif ini. ”Ini untuk mengukur kemampuan dari masing-masing member dan mengetahui cara handle big bike, bukan seberapa kencang dia mengendarai motornya. Kegiatan ini juga diharapkan dapat mempererat tali silaturahmi dan memupuk rasa sportifitas di antara anggota YRC Indonesia,” ujar Illy.

Adapun teknis defensive riding training yang diajarkan Yamaha meliputi :

1. Teknik dasar pengecekan sepeda motor sebelum berkendara (peserta diajarkan bagaimana cara melakukan pengecekan standar sepeda motor sebelum berkendara)

2. Cara menghandle motor (peserta diajarkan cara menghandle sepeda motor yang benar seperti teknik mendorong motor, mengangkat saat motor terjatuh dan memundurkan sepeda motor)

3. Riding postur (posisi berkendara yang benar seperti pandangan mata, posisi lengan, posisi kaki, dan lain lain)

4. Slalom & full lock circle (peserta diajarkan cara mengontrol buka gas secara smooth saat berbelok)

5. Weaving balance & side winder (keseimbangan saat berkendara)

6. Trykhana (saat di track meliputi penggunaan gear, teknik berbelok, teknik braking, teknik membuka gas). Satu orang peserta diberikan kesempatan mengendarai motor satu kali pemanasan dan dua kali putaran.
