Honda Dan Yamaha Siap Tempur

Dalam waktu dekat pabrikan motor Yamaha akan menghadirkan varian baru 2010. Setelah di negeri Gajah Putih, Thailand, Yamaha menghadirkan Mio 125. Mungkin dalam waktu dekat varian ini akan masuk pasar Indonesia atau mungkin juga varian lain. Baik di segment bebek atau sport.

Begitu juga dengan pabrikan Honda. Dalam waktu dekat PT. AHM akan menghadirkan beberapa motor baru, dari minor change hingga all new.

Kedua pabrikan ini nampaknya telah mempersiapkan berbagai amunisi untuk saling menyerang dan bertahan.
Peperangan kedua pabrikan di tahun 2010 ini sebenarnya sudah mulai terlihat. Saat Yamaha tiba-tiba meluncurkan facelift Vega ZR, Honda seolah tak mau kalah. Tanpa hujan dan tanpa angin, Honda mengabarkan melalui siaran persnya telah meluncurkan facelift Honda ABS Revo.

Disegmen motor sport, keduanya seperti sedang saling mengukur kekuatan lawannya. Yamaha yang digosipkan akan meluncurkan Byson 150cc pada 2010 ini, Honda juga akan menghadirkan Mega Pro 150. Meski keduanya masih mengatakan bahwa kedua varian ini belum tantu akan hadir dalam waktu dekat. Yang menarik disisi lainnya, masyarakat sangat menantikan motor sport berkapasitas 250cc dari kedua pabrikan tersebut.

Kehadiran Yamaha Mio 125 di Thailand, mencuatkan opini publik bahwa kehadiran Mio 125 diproyeksikan sebagai batu ganjalan Honda Vario CBS Techno yang di Thailand dikenal dengan sebutan Click-i. Lantas bagaimana dengan Honda PCX 125 yang nongolnya pun di Thailand duluan? Apakah Yamaha pun telah mempersiapkan amunisi untuk menghantam laju PCX 125 kelak?

Pertempuran sepertinya akan semakin memanas dalam waktu dekat. Entah siapa yang akan lebih dulu masuk ke pasar otomotif Indonesia dan varian mana yang dihadirkan lebih dulu oleh kedua pabrikan. Hanya Tuhan dan petinggi kedua perusahaan yang tahu.
