SSFC Galang Dana Untuk Korban Banjir Karawang
Sekumpulan anak muda pecinta motor Suzuki Satria yang tergabung dalam Suzuki Satria F150 Club (SSFC) wilayah Jakarta, melakukan penggalangan dana untuk korban banjir di wilayah Karawang dan sekitarnya. Banjir yang telah lebih dari satu minggu menggenangi rumah warga, membuat mereka tak bisa berdiam diri.
Bersamaan dengan gelaran Achilles Drift Battle 2010 di JiExpo Kemayoran pada Minggu, 28 Maret 2010, SSFC mencoba menggugah hati masyarakat yang hadir di sana untuk menyisihkan sedikit rejekinya bagi korban banjir Karawang.
Club yang lahir pada 12 Desember 2010 silam ini berencana untuk menyerahkan bantuan yang telah terkumpul pada Kamis, 1 April 2010 mendatang. Daniel selaku Ketua Umum SSFC mengatakan bahwa SSFC merasa tergugah dan wajib melakukan sesuatu untuk masyarakat Karawang yang hingga saat ini masih hidup dalam kesulitan.
“Kami merasa perlu untuk melakukan penggalangan dana bagi korban banjir Karawang. Kami berharap dari aksi sosial ini dapat mengumpulkan dana untuk membantu saudara-saudara kita di Kawarang sana. Dan kebutulan juga ada anggota SSFC yang rumahnya hingga saat ini hanya terlihat atapnya saja karena terendam air,” papar Daniel.
“Kami yakin dana yang terkumpul memang tak akan besar, tapi jangan melihat jumlah dari dana yang terkumpul ini lihatlah keikhlasan mereka yang telah membantu dan lihatlah saudara-saudara kita yang sangat membutuhkan bantuan kita,” tambah Daniel.
Aksi sosial yang memang merupakan bagian dari visi dan misi terbentuknya Suzuki Satria F150 Club ini adalah sebagian kecil dari langkah maju berdirinya sebuah komunitas atau club. Pasalnya pembentukan SSFC memang mendasari diri sebagai wadah yang berfungsi mengelola dan mengakomodir para pemilik dan pengguna motor Suzuki Satria F150 pada kegiatan positif dan bermanfaat.
