Moto 2 Jerez Spayol: Toni Elias Kandaskan Harapan Tomizawa

JEREZ.– Start diposisi pertama tak berarti Toni Elias dari Gresini Racing Moto2 harus tampil mulus hingga usai balapan, adegan over taking pun menjadi sajian utama jalannya Moto 2 Jerez, Spanyol. Hingga pada tikungan akhir menjelang usai balapan, Elias berhasil mengandaskan harapan Shoya Tomizawa untuk kembali menempati podium pertama Moto 2.

Di awal jalannya balapan yang sempat tertunda beberapa menit ini, sempat membuat Elias kehilangan posisinya hingga harus terpental ke posisi lima. Beruntung sepanjang jalannya perlombaan, Elias berhasil menyusup hingga berhasil finish di urutan pertama.

Keberuntungan Elias yang mampu kembali berada di posisi pertama hanya karena beberapa kesalahan pembalap lain dan berhasil dimanfaatkan Elias.

Tomizawa yang bejuang keras sepanjang balapan harus mengakui ketangguhan Elias dan harus puas berada diurutan kedua.

Thomas Luthi yang sempat ambil bagian menjadi pemimpin jalannya balapan harus pasrah berada di podium ketiga.

Inilah janji pembalap tuan rumah yang akan tampil maksimal dalam balapan Moto 2 Jerez Spanyol. Kendati harus mengalami ketertinggalan dalam balapan yang digelar sebanyak 17 putaran ini, Elias berhasil membuktikan kekuatannya di depan publik sendiri.
