Kalau urusan ngobatin penyakit skuter matik, bengkel yang satu ini gak perlu diragukan lagi kredibilitasnya. Mulai dari service rutin sampai ngurusin motor balap, Clinic Motor emang jagonya. Ya, seperti namanya, Clinic Motor, yaitu tempat berobatnya motor-motor matik.
Bengkel yang berlokasi di Jl. Squadron No.14, Kelurahan Makassar Halim, Jakarta Timur ini, lebih memfokuskan pekerjaan pada sekuter matik untuk drag race dan road race. Namun demikian, pengerjaan atau service diluar motor matik tetap dikerjakan.
“Bengkel ini berdiri sejak 2008 dan lebih memfokuskan pada motor matik. Tapi untuk melayani perbaikan motor lain pun bisa,” papar Deny Mansur pentolan Clinic Motor.
Kendati baru berusia 2 tahun, namun sesungguhnya para personel Clinic Motor adalah pemain lama. Pasalnya sebelum Clinic Motor berdiri, Komeng sapaan akrab Deny Mansur pernah punya bengkel di kawasan Kampung Berlan, Matraman Jakarta-Timur pada tahun 2002 silam yang dikenal dengan sebutan BBC, alias Bengkel Bang Chomenk.
Setelah sempat vakum pada 2005 hingga 2006, Komeng bekerja dari satu bengkel ke bengkel lain. Bahkan dirinya sempat memperdalam ilmu tentang otomotif roda dua di Robby Bontot.
Di dunia balap, nama Clinic Motor dipandang bukanlah sebagai bengkel drag atau road race kemaren sore, walau sesungguhnya Clinic Motor baru lahir pada Agustus 2008 silam. Pasalnya, ratusan piala dari berbagai kejuaraan nasional pernah disabet bengkel tempat berobatnya motor matik ini.
“Sejak 2008 gw lebih fokus ke motor road race khususnya skutik. Gw udah males main di balap liar. Bawaannya panas,” papar lelaki kelahiran Jakarta 27 tahun silam ini.
Menurut lelaki belasteran Jawa-Sunda ini, dirinya mulai main di balap matik sejak Yamaha Mio keluar pertama kali. Motor Mio miliknya dijadikan kelinci percobaan untuk mendapatkan setingan yang pas. “Butuh setahun gw memperlajari dan mengoprek Mio gw untuk mendapatkan formula gubahan mesinnya,” kata lelaki berperaawakan kurus ini.
Dari hasil eksperimen pada Yamaha Mio miliknya, Clinic Motor kini dibanjiri pesanan skutik balap dari berbagai daerah. Pasiennya bukan hanya dari Jakarta, tapi Sumatera hingga Papua.
“Kalo untuk kohar, service rutin, semua jenis motor kita kerjain. Biasanya pasiennya mayoritas wilayah Jakarta. Kalo untuk balap, pasiennya datang bukan hanya dari Jakarta saja, banyak juga dari luar Jakarta seperti Riau, Padang, Bangka, Makassar sampai Papua,” pungkas lelaki lulusan STM jurusan Listrik yang kini telah memasuki smester lima di UNIAT jurusan IT.
