GilaMotor, JAKARTA.- PT. Bajaj Auto Indonesia (BAI) selaku ATPM motor Bajaj di Indonesia berhasil memenuhi target penjualan produknya selama Pekan Raya Jakarta sebanyak 1000 unit.
Tercatat hingga awal pekan kemarin (5/7), BAI berhasil menjual produknya lebih dari 1000 unit. Diperkirakan, hingga 11 Juli mendatang atau bersamaan dengan berakhirnya gelaran PRJ, BAI akan membukukan penjualan sebesar 1,200 unit motor Bajaj.
Dari total penjualan 1010 unit pada 5 Juli kemarin, sekitar 80% adalah produk terbaru Bajaj di segmen light sport, Pulsar 135 LS. Tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap Pulsar 135 LS disebabkan disain yang sport dan stylish serta harga yang terjangkau untuk sebuah motor sport.
“Hingga tanggal 5 Juli kemarin total penjualan di PRJ mencapai 1010 unit. Diperkirakan hingga akhir PRJ, akan terjual hingga 1,200 unit,” jelas Rizal Tandju, Marketing & PR Asst. Manager PT BAI.
“Pengiriman unit ke konsumen sudah berjalan dan dijadwalkan akan samapai ke tangan konsumen paling lambat awal bulan depan,” tambah Rizal.
Sejak diluncurkan pada 14 April 2010 silam di Jakarta, Pulsar 135 LS berhasil terjual lebih dari 3,400 unit. Jakarta dan Jawa Barat menjadi penyumbang terbesar penjualan Pulsar 135 LS dan disusul oleh Pekan Baru dan beberapa kota besar lainnya.
Dimasa mendatang, BAI juga berencana menghadirkan produk CKD yang saat ini masih di impor secara utuh dari India.
“BAI juga berencana akan menghadirkan produk CKD, namun kami belum bisa menjelaskan kapan akan dimulai. Karena kamu masih mempertimbangkan beberapa aspek dari produk Bajaj seperti kualitasnya, termasuk untuk kandungan lokalnya,” pungkas Rizal.
