GilaMotor, JAKARTA.- Prediksi akan menurunnya pengunjung pameran terbesar Pekan Raya Jakarta yang akan berimbas pada turunnya angka penjualan ternyata tak terbukti. Kekhawatiran turunya jumlah pengunjung disinyalir karena bertepatan dengan gelaran akbar piala dunia.
Bukan hanya pada penjualan motor saja, tapi penjualan produk pendukung seperti ban dan helm pun mengalami peningkatan.
PT. Gajah Tunggal Tbk, selaku produsen ban IRC mengalami peningkatan penjualan produknya hingga lebih dari 20%. Tahun lalu, penjualan tercatat hanya mendekati angka 7000 unit ban, namun pada PRJ kali ini penjualan mencapai angka 8300-an unit ban.
“Ini boleh dikatakan sebagai fenomena baru, 2 hari menjelang usai pengunjung jauh lebih padat dari hari-hari sebelumnya. Pada tanggal 10 dan 11 Juli 2010 atau hari terakhir PRJ, penjualan mencapai 1600 unit atau 800 unit ban perhari. Padahal hari-hari sebelumnya hanya terjual 300 sampai 350 unit ban saja,” jelas Arijanto Notorahardjo, GM Marketing PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk.
“Tahun ini merupakan yang luar biasa. Karena awalnya kita pesimis karena harus berhadapan dengan Piala Dunia, tapi ternyata antusiasme masyarakat sangat tinggi untuk berkunjung ke PRJ,” tambah Arijanto.
Lain hal nya dengan PT. Dana Persadaraya Motor Industry selaku produsen helm NHK. Kendati penjualan tak mencapai target hingga 30 ribu unit helm, namun penjualan lebih dari 25 ribu unit helm menunjukan indikasi yang baik.
“Dari target yang ditetapkan NHK sebesar 30 ribu unit helm, ternyata hanya terjual lebih dari 25 ribu unit helm. Kendati demikian angka ini terbilang cukup memuaskan,” jelas Supriyono, selaku GM Marketing & PR PT Dana Persadaraya Motor Industry.
