GilaMotor, JAKARTA.- Memasuki bulan Agustus 2010 ini, PT. Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) akan menaikan uang muka pembelian unit motor Yamaha. Kenaikan ini dimaksudkan sebagai salah satu langkah untuk menghindari pembeli emosional agar mampu menghadirkan pembeli dengan sistem leasing yang sehat.
Beberapa kalangan beranggapan bahwa mudik dengan motor baru dapat dianalogikan sebagai suatu symbol pencapaian keberhasilan selama di Ibu Kota. Rendahnya jumlah uang muka yang harus dibayarkan untuk membeli motor dengan sistem keredit, tak sedikit menciptakan pembeli yang tak memikirkan biaya angsuran kedepannya.
Menurut Presiden Direktur PT. YMKI , Dyonisius Beti, penambahan jumlah uang muka terendah dari Rp 1.5 juta menjadi Rp 1.75 juta diharapkan mampu meminimalis jumlah pembeli emosional yang tak terlalu memikirkan kondisi keuangan kedepannya.
“Kalau DP terlalu kecil, itu membuat konsumen membeli dengan emosional apa lagi menjelang lebaran. Kalau DP kita naikan sedikit, pembeli yang memang merasa belum mampu bisa menahan diri agar tidak terjadi kesulitan membayar setelah lebaran. Apa lagi jika ada kenaikan biaya listrik, tentu akan berimbas kepada kenaikan harga di beberapa sektor, termasuk pada biaya kebutuhan rumah tangga,” jelas Dyon.
Ketika ditanya masalah kenaikan harga motor, Dyon memastikan tidak ada kenaikan hanya saja DP nya saja yang naik.
“Harga tidak naik, hanya DP nya saja. Dengan kenaikan ini kita harapkan masyarakat tidak membeli secara emosional sehingga tidak menyulitkan diri sendiri di kemudian hari,” tambah Dyon.
