GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Setelah resmi diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat dan menunggu keputusan kenaikan bea balik nama, akhirnya PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) mengumumkan harga jual untuk motor bebek sport terbarunya, New Jupiter MX.
Dari informasi yang berikan Yamaha, kenaikan harga New Jupiter MX varian full clutch cukup signifikan dibanding generasi sebelumnya, yakni mencapai Rp 925 ribuan. Namun untuk varian auto clutch hanya mengalami kenaikan harga Rp 350 ribuan.
Generasi Jupiter MX terdahulu dibandrol dengan harga Rp 15.35 juta untuk varian auto clutch dan Rp 15.475 untuk varian full clutch. Kini kedua generasi tersebut dibandrol dengan harga Rp 15.7 juta dan Rp 16.4 juta.
Yamaha mengatakan, luaran tenaga kedua motor ini juga lebih besar dari generasi sebelumnya. untuk varian Full Cluth, luaran tenaganya terpaut 0.38 PS lebih besar dari varian Auto Cluth. Jika Full Cluth mampu mencapai 12.52 PS pada 8.500 rpm, Auto Cluth hanya mencapai  12.14 PS pada 8.500 rpm. Sementara torsi varian Full Cluth mencapai 12,14 Nm pada 6.000 rpm dan Auto Cluth hanya 11,79 rpm.
